I was recommended this shop by quite a few of the guys I ride with. This shop is excellent. I had called prior to taking my bike in just to run a few questions by the service guys, and I spoke with Danny. He was super knowledge and very friendly. A week later I took my bike in along with the parts I had purchased myself. The guys there got the work done on my bike quick, and gave me a call to let me know it was ready to be picked up. When I went to pick it up, they told me how the install went and they also did a courtesy inspection of my bike, which I really appreciated. Not to mention, they are going to do the first chain adjustment for free after the install. My bike looks and rides great and I couldn’t be happier. Highly recommend and will be back if my bike needs work!

DTR has honestly been the best shop that I have ever taken my bikes to. The guys that work there are so friendly and actually take their time with each customer. I would recommend then to everyone that wants their bike serviced the right way. I wouldn’t take my bike anywhere else! My R6 is very happy

I was very happy with DTR’s service. I no longer have a sportbike and have switched to a touring bike. It is a Honda ST1300. Stock suspension is way to soft for a heavy guy. Took my bike to DTR and Dustin and Danny were able to help me out. They resprung the forks and the rear end. The difference is great. So much more stable and even more comfortable to ride. The bike handles, brakes and does everything better. This is not a bike they typically work on so it took a couple of weeks but they got it all done and it worked and looked great. I have ridden it about 1600 miles in the past 6 – 7 weeks and everything is still working fine.

Still no contact from Dustin or DTR in general. Today’s date is 01/27/2016. It appears they have no intention on trying to reconcile or make anything better. They committed to a service that they could not complete. They should be held liable for the time, inconvenience and the charges associated with it. Now I am spending money at a competent shop and never going back to DTR. Poor business practices. Stick to racing, seems that is the only thing you are good at.

Great service, very friendly staff, showed me all the mods and tuneup that can done on my ride. They performed free safety inspection and fixed multiple small loose components and fixed my throttle and clutch play and lubed the chain. Definitely recomend it to all bikers.

Dustin was a life-saver! I made the mistake of taking my ’09CBR600RR to a friend to have my fork seals done… lesson learned = never do this again! Dustin found several mistakes in my friend’s install, the biggest being that one of the seals was installed upside down, thus the reason it wasn’t sealing. He knocked the job out quick and even did a professional suspension setup(an awesome add-on since he’s an AMA pro himself who knows a little more about suspensions than a novice like myself). Not only was the service fast and professional, the atmosphere at the shop is great! All the guys there love to ride and it shows. Nothing like talking riding with guys who know and care about bikes and having great work done. I highly recommend this shop! BTW this is my 2nd trip there, first trip was to have my Yoshimura RS-5 exhaust packed b/c they were the only shop on Cave Creek Rd with the proper rivet gun to rivet back my exhaust can.

For some reason my original and very extensive review was taken down. Anyway, avoid this place at ALL cost. They even forgot to bolt my fairings back on all the way which went flying off on the 51 going 140mph. They compensated for none of it and said sorry. The time before that they forgot to fix my back brake(main reason I brought it in), and I didn’t notice until I tried to brake at an intersection! A busy intersection! I could died. This was after waiting 30 days to get it back. For 8 hours of labor and supposedly«waiting on parts» excuse he will always tell. Don’t believe me? Ask for a tracking number. He ripped me off $ 2,400.

Justin the owner set the suspension on my bike along with a new set of tires. He also checked out wear on the chain and other components to make sure my bike was in proper working order. You can tell Justin is passionate about bikes and it shows in the quality of his shops work.

Went to DTR Motorsports based on recommendations from several Ducati owners that had positive experiences. We know those bikes need lots of tender, love and care by an experienced hand. Originally, I was referred to DTR for suspension adjustments and setup as the owner is a competitive sportbike racer and familiar with proper street/track setups. I dealt with Dustin, the owner, though the whole experience and it was all positive. I’m a hobbyist mechanic so I’m the worst kind of customer. I know just enough to talk the lingo and understand what was done, but not so experienced I fell fully confident in performing all the work. My 2009R1 was in need of valve clearance checks. Dustin checked in my bike, took notes on what I needed done which was really a full service(fluids, chain lube, valves, filter cleaning, spark plugs, etc). Dustin took note of several smaller items that needed fixing including my throttle free-play, clutch and brake lever throw distance. Good attention to detail instead of just doing the bare minimum. I asked him how he prefers to adjust valves(tight/loose) and he explained in full detail what he does and why he prefers it that way. Also, he suggested a suspension setup and, for the impact it had, it was pennies for the knowledge and time saved by having him do it. I called later the next day for a status on the bike and he returned my call within 30 minutes explaining the bike was done and ready for pickup in the morning. When I showed up in the morning, we went through setting the bike’s suspension sag, pre-load, and bound/rebound settings for both the front and rear of the bike. Turns out, the whole suspension was too soft everywhere even for street riding. In the end, he provided me a full invoice including the specs for the before/after valve clearances for my records. The bike was noticeably better in performance and behavior, as well as better feeling with the suspension and controls adjustments. Was it a little expensive? It was. Before you discount that, know what you’re paying for when you go here such as expertise and honesty. For what I paid, I felt it was a fair price knowing my bike was cared for and the work was done right. Both are in short supply in the shop world, and both are WELL worth the cash because you’ll pay later even if you save a few bucks up front. Take your bike here and get back to enjoying your ride!
