One of the best experiences ever! I am artistically challenged, but this place made me feel like an artist! The instructors were very helpful but not«this needs to be this way exactly» they give you your ability to be creative and not structured. Did I mention that our main instructor is hot, like really hot? What’s even cooler than that is the pen we got! I’m a waitress and every time I hand it to a customer they try to hide it from me to take it home. Our paintings came out really awesome and I’m glad that none of ours actually looked the same, I actually put mine in a frame at home. I really want to go back, and bring a boyfriend too! I can’t wait to go to more elite events!

Wherefore Art Thou? …is an incredibly famous line. My brain got super excited, horrifying English teachers everywhere, twisting it to, «Where’s the Art? I got in! I. GOT. IN!» when the lucky RSVP news popped into my in-box. Close friends will appreciate this nugget. I hadn’t even realized wine was involved.(«Really Irene? The Pinot part of the invite didn’t give it away?») I was so stoked about twirling paint I mainlined the painting aspect. I’m terrible at art.(Or, more appropriately, terrified of it.) The invite promised a learning experience and boy did it deliver! And as with all things Elite this event was F-U-N! The owner, Soral, queued up the night, with a little bit of history. Instead of following the path his parents outlined for him,(as a Pharmacist), and an arranged marriage, he said no. In what can only be described as an «Awww» moment we heard about true love and we met his wife, Samantha. At this point I really wish there had been a Vimeo. Soral turned the mic over to Ryan and music started pumping. Or this is what I remember of it. The team members were introduced(with flashing lights) as they made laps around the room, high five’ing everyone. It’s really hard to not get into a goofy mood with this cast of characters. So…the painting started. Or what I will refer to as The Carnage. Ryan referred to the technique as «The Swirl». I managed to get paint everywhere … except in the desired sections of the canvas. Ryan distracted me with his chipper, comedic timing.(I’m sorry I heckled you.) Yes! Yes! There was wine. And *delicious* food provided by Whole Foods. At one point Lindsey pops up, «Hey you guys! There are *three* more bottles of wine left!» [Delighted sighs filled the room.] Or groans. Not sure. *I* was happy! Thank you Lindsey! Tip: Even when you sit next to Deborah S.(A Master Unilocal Elite Painter) this kind of event is still fun. Just sit to the left side of her. Perhaps you’ll feel slightly less inferior with your 4 year old rendition of a painting. Just a thought. Even though I stopped following instructions(when we started outlining the tree) I still walked away with something I really like. The experience was a hoot! When we wrapped up the two-hour event I couldn’t believe where the time had gone. This is total date material or a fun night with friends. Only $ 35!(I inquired about longer classes. Friday & Saturday are 3 hrs for $ 45) This was an awesome Unilocal Elite Event! Thank you Lindsey! Thank you Pinot’s Palette! Thank you Whole Foods! (Also, thanks Pinot’s Palette for clarifying which Twitter to use! @PinotsPV)

Oh wow this was so fun! I love painting. I also love drinking and here, I got to do both. Although, I would have to say I’m a better painter when I’m sober. Honest truth. We were served wine, cheese, salmon, veggies, crackers and a lot of other things from Whole Foods. Major thanks to them. And then Ryan taught us to pain an awesome dark evil tree! I really liked how mine came out. He was cool and could handle us under pressure. We drank and ate and followed Ryan’s instructions. It was easy and everyone’s painting came out great. It was a fun time and really, it’s a perfect place to go and paint for fun. Come with friends, family and anyone. Pinot’s Palette was awesome in giving us a free canvas and paint to do our artwork. And Whole Foods, thank you so much. We may have put some pressure on Ryan a bit but he handled it well. And of course, Lindsey was great! She set everything up so well. I want to do more art related Unilocal events in the future! ;)

My first few events in the Phoenix Unilocal scene have been amazing! When I first signed up for the event it was full, but after checking out their website I already knew that this place was on my list of places to check out in Phoenix! It’s a BYOW(bring your own wine) and personally I think the wine allowed my creative juices to flow! I loved the story of how Pinots Palette came to residence in Phoenix and how passionate the owner is about his business! Special shout out to Whole Foods who provided some seriously yummy grub(loved the smoked salmon dip and the beautiful cauliflower)! And of course to Lindsey Unilocal community manager superstar for putting together this amazingly unique and fun event!

I can’t paint! I thought going to this event was going to jus remind my of how pathetic my artistic abilities are. It didn’t!!! I had so much fun. Actually this might be classified as the funnest event ever! Our artist/host was very fun and put up with us crazy Unilocalers all night and actually got us to paint pictures worthy of only the finest artists! Pinot’s Palette really made us feel welcome and this is a really cool girls night out/date night spot. Although my tree turned out to be a little forboding and creepy, I am very proud of it! Whole Foods did a great job putting together some trays of yummy food for us and I love the colorful cauliflower! I have always been reluctant to try these wine and painting places but no more! I will be recommending this to everyone! Thank you Lindsey aka Rembrandt! and thank you Whole Foods and Pinot’s Palette.

I wish I was an artist, I wish I was an artist, I wish I was an artist! lol. I have literally loved any Unilocal event I’ve been to. Despite the fact that I don’t have an artistic bone in me at all I had so much fun! We started off with getting our own Easel, paint brushes, paint and cute little apron. The best part was that we got shown step by step on how to create our little«masterpiece»! Mine turned out looking like a plotted plant instead of an amazing tree but I had sooooo much fun doing it! haha. Food! Everything was yummy. There was some guacamole dip, chicken salad, vegetables. Lots to munch on! I also had some Pinot Grigio and some of the red wine that was delicious. This would literally be such a fun date! Impress your girls by painting her a masterpiece fellas! =) Thank you so much Pinot Palette for having us, Lindsey for another great event as always, and Whole Foods for the yummy munchies! Such a fun evening with my fellow Elite Unilocalers! =)

I am no painter. In fact, it is safe to say I could not give my art away. Still, whenever I am presented with the chance to create something, I jump at it. I’ve painted at other byo wine art studios before and I have had an enjoyable experience. Pinot’s Palette was unlike any other studio in that all the employees demonstrate so much energy and enthusiasm for their jobs. I really enjoyed painting here and I have already told friends about it! The event was great, with nosh from Whole Foods. I brought my own cheap cabernet(and it was apparently a screwtop — lol Natalie G) and enjoyed every drop of it. :) We were, perhaps, harrassing instructor Ryan a little too much. Poor guy. We Unilocalettes tend to get a little rowdy. ;) I was so happy to see my good pal Tasia T for the first time in forever! She is, incidentally, a better artist than I. All in all, a fabulous event put on by our CM Lindsey. Thanks to Pinot’s Palette, Whole Foods and Unilocal for a great event.
