Awesome food truck! I work right across from the Phoenix Public Market, where Food Truck Friday is held every week. I don’t usually go to the food trucks since there aren’t many gf options. Last week I went with a friend and stopped at Emerson to get a Sedona Sunset… which was amazing. I mentioned that I am gluten free & the owner told me they could bring gf fry bread if they have advanced notice. I messaged them on Thursday & they brought it this past Friday. It was amazing! I had it with beans and cheese. And of course another Sedona Sunset! :)

I’m lucky enough that Emerson comes to my office for lunch about once a week. They are my favorite truck that we get and we get a lot of really good trucks stopping by. Anyways, I like to try everything on the menu because everything has been really great. I like that they have started branching out beyond just fry bread and serve other things as well.
Lorenzo is really passionate about his food and has been since the first time I met him several years ago at a concert at the Rhythm Room and continues to have the same passion when I talked to him today.
Flavorful good food. I would recommend these guys to anyone!

I eat here regularly for lunch and have had the burritos and the fry bread which are great. Last week they had a chili relleno which I tried for the first time and it was the bomb! Not your typical restaurant style, but still a truly awesome version with lots of cheese, meat and served on a bed of rice. They are always friendly and have fast lunch service. This is one of our favorite trucks.

This of my first time trying them. I am hanging the MUZZY with carve asada. In airbrushing live the fresh green salad that they put on it. The carne asada is a little tough, in my opinion, some really good tender barbacoa would be great on this. Overall, this is a satisfying lunch.

We booked Emerson Fry Bread for an event and they didn’t show up. When we called they said that there was a mix up and that they are simply not coming. Never use this company they are unreliable and unprofessional!!!

I was so excited to try Emerson Fry Bread at our pre-​booked staff event. We went outside at noon at their scheduled time to wait for the truck and they didn’t show up. We called them to check in they just said, «All we can do is say sorry,» without any option of re-​booking or offering to re-​schedule. They said they were double booked and chose to go to the other place because there would be more people there — they didn’t even tell us! Horrible customer service — I would NOT rely on this company to book any event, as they might just not show up and not warn you. :(

We are all super bummed that Emerson Fry Bread did not show up for our scheduled Food Truck Lunch today. We have over 50 hungry employees who were eager to eat at a food truck for lunch, as our campus Café is closed this week. It was a nice alternative that our Happiness Committee attempted to offer us and to no fault of their own, the event is ruined and now we need to come up with another plan to feed our hungry employees ASAP. I guess we’ll be eating disappointment for lunch.

I wish I could give them no stars. We booked an event with them a full month and half early and they didn’t show. They didn’t call. In fact when we called they said all they could do was say sorry. We have a building full of hungry people who did not bring lunch because we had been hyping up the truck all month. A simple mistake is one thing but they were rude when we finally got a hold of them and knew they had double booked us and never bothered to contact us.
Their food is good but their service is horrible. Don’t rely on them or their promises.

Had a street taco and Elote (mexican corn on the cob) today and my friend had the green Chile cant say anything bad the food was spot on the service was with a smile and timely. We have food truck Thursday here at our work and i hope they come back

Found this gem at the Food Truck Friday in Chandler. Split the jazzy with my wife. Fry bread, steak, field greens, cheese & crema over top. Pico on the side. Homemade strawberry lemonade to drink. The food was bomb. Needless to say, we won’t be splitting next time. My one small complaint is it could have use a touch more cheese.

Yes yes yessss! Chandler food truck Friday, date night. We got the jazzy…
Came out piping hot. Carne asana was melt in your mouth good. Love the mixed greens instead of boring iceberg lettuce. Could have used a touch more cheese but I’m not complaining. The pico de gallo was delish too. Did I mention the homemade strawberry lemonade? My husband is super picky but loved this and so did I. We will be back!

THIS IS THE TRUCK! These guys come to my work a couple days a week and it is the high point of my work existence! EVERYTHING IS AMAZING! Such outgoing fast and crazy friendly service. It feels personal and it feels like family. (YES FROM A FOOD TRUCK!) Find these guys. hunt them down. Do whatever it takes. Get the Muzzy! Legend says… eating from this truck twice a week leads to fame fortune and glory and may even add years to your life! I believe it!

2nd time trying their food at the Chandler Food Truck night, very much enjoyed it. My first try was the Lamb fry bread which i thought was going to taste «lamby», so i told the guy «you gave me carne asada, this isn’t lamb» and he explained it was mutton and not the same lamby flavor. .ok, took his word for it. Next time i got the cane adobada with beans in a fry bread. .it was delicious!
I did need to add salt to my fry bread but other than that, the flavor was very very good. .and filling!

This was my first time eating from the Emerson Fry Bread food truck. My wife and I both had the smothered burrito and it was very good. Their sauce and ingredients tasted very fresh.
They were at the Central Farmers Market and will be there every Wednesday evening. Stop by and give them a try…

I LOVE fry bread, so I was very excited to try Emerson Fry Bread. I was not disappointed. It’s definitely not state fair fry bread. The gentleman who took our order was lively and personable. The time flies while you wait for your order because he’s so entertaining! I ordered the D$ (chicken & green chile). It was actually no longer on the menu, but they hooked it up. And I’m glad they did, because it was delicious! The fry bread itself was perfect and wouldn’t have changed one thing about any of the toppings. The mixed greens were especially nice… definitely an upgrade from the tasteless iceburg that most places serve. I will absolutely eat here again. I have to try the steak!

I wish I had anything to say about their food… but unfortunately I never got the chance to try it. Emerson Fry Bread was booked to cater my wedding, and THEY DID NOT SHOW UP… They called an hour before they were supposed to show up and said they couldn’t make it. WHAT TERRIBLE SERVICE!!!

Emerson Fry Bread was a participant in Food Faire, a special event at Kierland Commons for the benefit of Arizona foster children.
I’m a frequent, although not always voluntary, attendee of festivals and the like. I’m a sucker for Indian fry bread, often popping for an Indian Taco or some variation. Almost always disappointed. Fortunately, today was not one of those days.
Emerson’s fry bread was hot and light. The chicken filling was tasty, spicy and free of grease. Even the corn chips, thrown on the side of the plate as an apparent afterthought, were great. Friendly, energetic, service as well.
I’ll definitely seek out Emerson Fry Bread in the future.

Emerson Fry Bread food truck was at Chase Stadium for Hispanic Heritage Day.
That day my grubby little fingers had the delight of sampling something called «Kai Kai». This would = cinnamon sugar + honey on fry bread. Yes, I was carefully watching carbs back then.
And I watched them go down my gullet.
STAT.
My date and I ripped that bread apart faster than you can imagine. Heathens! More like savages. (Sorry Mom! But I remembered to say «Please and thank you.» I think.)
It may sound like an odd combination of flavors, but it’s quite tasty. Also, deep fried bread (or at least this deep fried bread) can be a light and fluffly thing of wonder.
