I have always been treated right by these guys. They have a ton of equipment, games and accessories from all eras of gaming. They also beat the pants off of Game Stop’s trade-in rates. Also started taking skylanders and other figure game trades way before anywhere else. Long story short, this is a great place to buy, sell and walk down memory lane.

What a great store. Tons of games, tons of systems, tons of magazines and books-just a great classic video game stop. Prices are similar to better than GameStop, but the sheer selection of older video games will shock you. Highly recommend stopping in if for nothing else to get a blast from the past.

Fallout Games sells used games and equipment for just about every console dating back to the Atari VCS/2600. Some of the more popular current generation titles are a bit pricey, but overall this store is a joy to visit. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable and don’t harass you or try to upsell you. A must visit for serious gamers who strive to appreciate the evolution and history of console gaming for themselves.

Huge selection of games, accessories, and gaming systems. I was so pleasently surprised that it was so clean and the employees were super friendly and helpful. My son will be dragging me here a lot and I actually wont mind going!

Love that they have a lot of the older games and systems. Staff is extremely friendly, helpful and patient. They also price match Game Stop. Will definitely come back.

As with every business, the chance to redeem oneself is based solely off of the serviced expressed post any mistake made right. One simple occurrence cannot determine the outcome of any of life’s obstacles. Yet showing the ability to genuinely care for a customer and a possible negative experience, that is the basic concept behind customer service itself. A pencil may have the ability to create a horrid work of art, and the eraser that sits idly at the opposite pole of lead, has the ability to bring life to art that was once dead. Thank you, Zed Thank you, fallout

Finally got a chance to drop by this location for the first time last week, and I was very impressed! It was very neat, the guy there was helpful, and it was a lot less crowded than the Tempe location, which I’m used to going to. The same guy was there that I see sometimes at Tempe, so that was nice, too. Since the store is newer, I was told they can’t transfer games, which is pretty lame. I ended up driving 35 minutes from the Tempe store to pick up a copy of Kingdom Hearts II. It was worth it, though. There were a lot of rare games there, and I even ended up finding Shantae! Since I live about in the middle between the stores, I’ll definitely make it a point to drop by more often.

This place was recomended to me when I asked someone about game guides. I spend a lot of money on games and I especially like the older ones. I was very excited to check it out. My expectations may have been unrealistic. At first, it was exactly what I expected, a hole-in-the-wall with stacks of old games. I was immediately hit with the smell of wacky smoke(yes, that kind). I don’t really care about that, but it colors the rest of the experience. Everything in the shop was dirty. I had to wash the ick off my hands after leaving. The books were arranged in a piling method that could be described as «arranged by a tornado.» You would have to move every single one to find the one you need. That’s only if it’s there at all. The games are only arranged by system type. They aren’t alpha order or even grouped by series or anything. Again, have fun searching through every single one. That’s only if it has a jacket. The ones with no case are in untouchable piles under glass in the, now familiar, tornado style. If you are a collector, don’t bother. You will not find anything in decent shape here. Everything is dirty or damaged. You can find a Color Gameboy with a sticker that says«color does not work» or a Dreamcast that’s cracked down the top. 99% of the game cases I looked at appeared to have been chewed. At the register with a couple games, I was told they wouldn’t take my AmEx. The woman behind the counter tells me, «We literally take ANYTHING else.» What a slap in the face! You mean, you will take a check in 2015, but you won’t take an AmEx? Is that supposed to make me feel better about being refused business? It doesn’t. I glanced down at the register sign which says«no refunds.» So you want me to take a risk on your shady, used games, but you won’t take a credit card from the highest rated credit card company in the world? Good luck with that business model. At least put a sign on the door or something so I know not to bother entering. I’ll go back to this store when they have joined the rest of us in the 21st century and want to be taken seriously as a legitimate business. For now, I’m going to stick to the 1000+ other stores that sell games in the Phoenix metro area and the endless online options.

They have a standard amount of stock in this store. I didn’t stay and look for too long because I was only picking up a Sega Gen 2 system they had on hold for me. The customer service was good but nothing really exceptional. They had old ColecoVision games, Atari, etc. However, no Jaguar system :( My biggest gripe is that they didn’t know anything about the 10% off coupon from the Unilocal app. When you check in, a coupon pops up for 10% which you are then supposed to show to the cashier. They didn’t know anything about it, but gave me the discount in good faith. This is not the first time this has happened with a business, management really needs to communicate with their staff better.

This place frickin rocks. I can’t believe the selection and how they have every video game system ever made. It brings back so many memories. You have to come here just to check it out! It’s like a museum for video game lovers.

Always well stocked and a great selection. Prices can be up there for some games but overall pretty fair.

This place is a joke. I went here because I’m not a huge fan of GameStop. The employee here sat on the ground behind the counter on the phone for about 5 minutes before he got up and there were 3 people in the store and 2 of us were standing at the counter. And their polices are absurd no returns or exchanges except the same product.

Fallout Games is great! My boyfriend was searching Craigslist for an original NES but I wanted to be able to buy him one from somewhere with some sort of guarantee it would actually work and for a decent price. Luckily I came across this gem of a store and I couldn’t have been happier with the service they provide and the great products! I’ve been in three times now, and each time it’s been a different employee, but all were equally pleasant, helpful, and knowledgeable. We had to swap out the first NES I purchased because the pin was sticking, but there was absolutely no issue, and they even let us try the new system in the store to make sure it worked before we took it home. When we went back my boyfriend was stoked to see an Intellivision, too. If you are looking for anything specific, or just want to browse the extremely organized rows and rows of classic finds, this is the place to go!

I enjoy video games especially games of old yore, yes yore. I had heard about fallout games and in my mind imagined an old Gamers or Electronic Boutique but perhaps crappier(imagine that, am i rite guys — cause they were both pretty bad) this due to the fact that old games get tossed and what not(never by me but people with no remorse or care or overall positive demeanor/taste). Either way I was BLOWNAWAY!!! Its like taking a trip to Toys R Us in the 90’s! You know back when Toys R Us meant something. They had«isles» of toys not a weird as circular layout and the video game area had a crazy 2 sided laminated cards, ROWSOFTHEM, providing descriptions and screenshots of the game. And if you wanted it you could purchase it… with a paper sheet held inside a clear plastic envelope that on a good day you could convince your parent to bring up to the register. This place is a blast in the past with games as far back as Atari and as new as the current gen consoles(ps3,Xbox 360, wii u… JKWII U ISN’T NEXTGENHAHAHA) So next time your looking for a virtual boy or a 3DO version of «night trap»(best version /full screen) hit up Fallout games, I cant say enough its as awesome as my run on sentences
