Firestone Complete Auto Care

If you want a quick and easy oil change, this may not be the place for you. The staff is really nice, pretty helpful. I had made an appointment for an oil change and an AC performance check, because they said they were too busy to take my car as a «walk in». A little annoying but I get that they get busy.
When I went in for my appointment, they took me right away. I then walked to a near by Starbucks to wait for my car. After about an hour they called me telling the parts I needed for my AC and asked if I wanted it fixed. They said it would take about another hour to finish. After an hour, I hadn’t received a call from them. So I walked back to check on my car (at this point they had had my car for about 3 hours). When I got there, they said that my part for my car had just came in and it would be another couple of hours wait. The only problem is that I had a different appointment that I had to leave for. (I thought 4 hours would be sufficient time).
They, in the end, didn’t charge me for the AC but asked me to come back on a different day to finish it. So, not the worst service, my car is running better. But not the quickest service either. I underestimated how much work needed to be done. I will go back, because they did a good job, I just wish their communication was a LITTLE bit better. Overall pretty good!

$ 20 to fix a small hole in the tire once they realized I wasn’t going to buy a new one. My little mom and pop tire place would have just fixed the flat, no up sell and charge me $ 15.
I guess they used some new plug system instead of patching it «old school.» My instinct tells me this is a convenience to them vs a better service to me. I’ll have to look into that.
(After looking into it a little I think they did a «plug patch» which is a premium way to go. So hats off for that part of the deal.)
I also don’t like being asked for a bunch of personal info when I am just getting a flat fixed. I’m not applying for a job or a loan! Just my first name and my money should be adequate.
The one hour wait was also pretty lame. I hate corporate and love little places. The only reason they even get 3 stars is because they were close to where my flat trailer tire occured– unlike the mom and pop. So thanks for being conveniently located and slow and slightly expensive. Try firing some middle managers so you can improve your Unilocal reviews.

Professional, clean, and trustworthy. This has become my go to place for car service. They do a great job, especially Adam. Since they don’t try to up sell I trust them when they recommend a more extensive or expensive repair.

I had an outstanding experience here. My Chevy Cavalier was towed to this location and needed a new engine. This is a daunting, nerve-​racking and financially challenging, not to mention unexpected experience for anyone. This location quoted me half the price of my local mechanic and made it clear to me this would include everything, and included a 12 month warranty on the remanufactured engine. The incredible part is that they were able to locate AND install the engine in 3 days– and one of those days was a Saturday! That’s right, 3 days. I returned my rental early and picked up my car well ahead of schedule. Oh, and they replaced my windshield fluid reservoir free of charge so now I can clean my windshield again. Wow. Who does that? Kudos to Santana, Steve, Adam, Rachel and Alex. So impressed. If I could give this business (and the people who work here) 10 stars, I would.

I have complete Faith in this Firestone location. I’ve dealt with this location for years with all three of our cars. I had to be away for months due to family and one of the cars needed special attention. Rachel was a great help to me this past time. The AC job was a bit and she asked if I could go in to a local Firestone location and have a rep from that location call Phoenix location to assist with payment… all to protect me from fraudulent charges.

Came in for a replacement tire. Another man wLks in with concerns on suspension. The questions he was being asked seem lije things that a quick test drive should have answered.
As for me. I am having to buy a V rated tire, because that is what they have. Not normally what I would put in a Ford Edge. The cost out the door…$ 211.56. Very courteous and said I will be out in an hour. The lot was already backed up. He has a full appointment schedule and being a cold Saturday, it will likely get busier before the morning is over.

Set up an appointment for 11:30 for an oil change. Here it is 1 hour later and my car is still sitting where I parked it. Why set up an appointment if you don’t respect your customer’s time? I do not recommend this place, especially if you are in a hurry.

Excellent experiences the last two times my husband (Darin goss) and I have been here. I appreciate Rachel’s friendliness as well as attention to service and integrity.

Avoid Firestone at all possible costs. I purchased a set of tires from them with the extended warranty. Ever since I left the store I have been having issues with the front left tire showing low air. I keep coming back to Firestone every 2 weeks when the low air indicator comes on and every time they have a new «excuse» on how this is totally normal with weather changes or it just needs to be topped off. Stay away. They will tell you about their national network of shops and customer service excellence but that is nothing more than a thin sales pitch in my opinion. I have had less than a stellar experience with them, needlessly.

Chose Firestone due to the good reviews here on Unilocal and due to it’s convenient location. My car is in need of some TLC and decided to get a change oil here. I decided to scope out their website to set an appointment and did so with ease. I saw they had coupons for Oil Change from $ 19.99 to $ 49.99 depending on the service and printed them off to see if they would apply, considering today was the last day.
Came in prior to my appointment and was told that I needed a Full Synthetic Oil for my Mini Cooper. I asked about the different kinds of oils to make sure it was appropriate for my car. My coupon was not applied, but the person helping me did give me a $ 15 rebate for my oil filter. The total cost for my oil + filter change came out to be $ 68.
The service was good in terms of conversation. They let me know it would take about an hour. Took an hour and a half, with two cars in front of me. I appreciate that the estimated wait time was in the ball park. However, if you’re looking for a place that’s quick … you might want to consider somewhere else. My appointment was at 11:30 on a Wednesday.
As of now, pretty happy with my car.

I’ve been to this Firestone 4 times now, twice for our own vehicles and twice for visiting relatives with a tire problem. Each time I found them to be honest (which is rare with repair shops, including dealerships), fixing or replacing the tires or other problem in a timely manner, and a pleasant display of good customer service. Requests were met and questions were answered. Also, their hours are long and daily, which is convenient if you have a problem at a bad time.
I’ve had suspicions of dishonesty and unneeded work at dealerships for our vehicles, so my trust level isn’t high. This place was fair 4 out of 4 times. Eric and Steve are two good staff I’ve had contact with.

This is the only place where I can trust the techs. I would have given a 5 star but the times I’ve been waiting took longer than usual even after I have set up an appointment online. Nonetheless, as long as I get the quality service I’m satisfied. I drive 15 miles to this location because they know what they are doing. I take my car for alignments since its lifetime. All the other locations have proven that they have no knowledge. I can say I leave this location without any questions or concerns.

Ron is the most pleasant, honest person I’ve had the pleasure of dealing with at any repair facility I’ve ever been to.
Needed a diagnostic to see where a vacuum/​exhaust leak was coming from on my 1998 F250. Ron quoted me $ 98 for the diagnostic and I had no problem with that as I had just spent almost $ 1000 at another facility to have some work done and they told me they didn’t do vacuum/​exhaust leaks. The other facility told me it was an exhaust leak and I’d have to take it elsewhere as they didn’t do exhaust leaks.
I did some research on my own with the codes the check engine light was giving and found out it could potentially be just a vacuum leak.
Ron was nice enough to get me in first thing in the morning and said he’d call when they knew anything. A short time later, he called to tell me they found the vacuum leak and that he would not be charging me the entire $ 98 diagnostic fee!
In fact, the repair plus the diagnostic was less than the original fee!
I picked up the truck and it runs like new!
It is certainly refreshing to find a place where they are honest, dependable and aren’t looking to get every last dollar from your wallet.
I will recommend Ron and this Firestone location to anyone seeking to have work done on their vehicle.

I generally hate doing things that involve repairing my car because it’s annoying to have to work with people you feel are just trying to get the most money out of you that they can. From the moment I walked in, everyone was welcoming, kind, and they just seemed like honest people. They explained the cost of everything in detail, were okay when I refused some extra services, gave me their recommendations for additional services but they were never pushy. My technician saw me putting things in my car as I was leaving and took the time to walk out of the service area to the parking lot and asked if I had any questions about the car since he was the one who worked on it. Their prices are extremely reasonable. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone and I am now their loyal customer. Thank you for being so awesome :)

I don’t really like auto places because I feel that they’re whole job is to make you scared by telling you minor things (that they blow up) about your car, soooooo you can pay more than what you need. With that super long sentence being said… These people are freakin cool. I came here early in the morning because I’m busy and needed a oil change quick. Also the pricing was right. I’m a college student ballin’ on a college budget. They only charged me 30 bucks in and out less than a hour and friendly. They weren’t mean or pushy. They printed out info I needed for the minor things they can fix on my car and with a quote. No haggling no hidden fees. They were honest and straight forward… And cheap lol. A lot cheaper than most. I had a great experience plus they have free Wi FI

Was looking to get a car inspection done for work. It’s about $ 20 wherever one goes, not a big profit for the store I know. However, unlike the other shops I tried, this store treated be as if I was buying hundreds of dollars in merchandise.
Treat me with respect when I only need to spend $ 20 and I’ll be back to purchase tires and services for all my vehicles next time. Well done Firestone on Osborn.

Been here a couple times now, for a couple different cars. First one was a junker I chose to blow money here at Firestone on just to get a look-​over. Little to nothing was actually done, but I did get an honest evaluation.
Next visit I needed a full diagnostic for a just purchased old (2004) used car, ended up with new tires, new brakes, flushed coolant, oil change, air filter. Got it all done in 5 hours (after a 2-​hour wait in the morning being asked to come back later to drop the car off). Twice I said I also want the steering alignment checked, both times he said, «Yeah yeah, we’ll do all that when we get all this other stuff done.» By the time the car was ready, I asked if the steering alignment had been checked, they said ‘no’. I initially said I’d wait for them to do it now asap, but then I changed my mind, I was tired, I’d been waiting for five hours.
I don’t know about you, but when I come in and say «I also want this checked,» that is an instruction, a command, not a nice-​to-​have. I have to take a star off for that. Otherwise I’d give these guys 5 stars. They even gave me a quarter when I was short on change for a beverage from the soda machine while spending four hours in the waiting room and an hour wandering around looking for a shopping mall that turned out to be shut down

I went in for an oil change expecting to pay about 40 $… the man who worked there applied a coupon for me (that I didn’t bring in or know about)… 23 $!!! How can I complain about that? They took about an hour to change the oil, but I wasn’t waiting in the waiting room, so I’m not sure if it would have been faster if they knew I was waiting. Regardless, I know where I’ll be going to get oil changes from now on.
