Foothills Baptist Church

Great church with a solid foundation. Foothills averages about 330 to 390 guests every Sunday… so it’s not a mega church but it’s not a small church. Worship program is stellar! Over 100 members in orchestra and choir combined. They have the AWANA program for kids and different small groups that you can sign up for throughout the week. Excellent teaching Pastor and he is very knowledgeable in the word.

Traditional sort of church, especially when compared to a lot of the newer «rock concert» type churches around. Southern Baptist. HUGE music program: choir, orchestra, band, etc. Some new Christian radio songs mixed in with older hymns. Good variety.
SUPER friendly & genuine people. You’ll feel welcome here. Big, comfy pews. Hardly ever crowded, but not empty either. Easy to find a seat. The earlier service is less crowded. The pastor might seem sort of monotone and (dare I say) boring at first listen… but that’s only if you’re NOT listening. He’s actually very engaging, extremely knowledgeable, and even funny at times. He won’t scream at you or jump up and down, but he’s very cool and teaches the Bible accurately.
Great for families – this church is FULL of them. Good children’s programs. All kinds of smaller mid-​week growth groups for adults too. Overall, if you’re in the area and want a cool church to check out, Foothills is a solid choice.

Lo, and let it be said that this church offers a path — a path to righteous salvation, and those who do not heed the word of the Lord shall suffer torment and damnation. Forsooth, let not the beads and revelry fool you — for this edifice is indeed a path to another dimension.
