Worst pharmacy I have ever been to. Not compassionate at all to patients with disabilities and are very disrespectful. Went yesterday and the lady was extremely rude when I asked to fill a prescription early since I am going out of town due to a family member having open heart surgery in California. All she had to say was you have to wait or you can take it to California to get it done, when I informed her I was unable to do this the lady said she would call my doctor to confirm early filling even though I had already had his confirmation. After 45 min later she confirmed it told me to wait another 20 min so she can fill it. Confrontation was exceptionally rude. These people do not know how to talk to people let alone patients. Am switching pharmacies this week and alerting my insurance company of the problems with this pharmacy. $ 34 later

I always come here in the morning and all of the cashiers and store personnel seem exceptionally nice. I get greeted in a friendly way at least three times every time I am at this price. All the products are always are in stock and I this is definitely my favorite Frys.

I started going here instead of the Safeway across the street because I was tired of purchasing stuff and then getting home and finding out it was expired. Fry’s is much better about keeping their inventory current, and I think that’s because they have a lot more people shopping there. The prices are slightly better(usually), but the place is a lot more crowded, which is annoying. Their produce selection is slightly better than Safeway, meaning most of the plums and pears and stuff like that is rock hard, and the berries often are beat to hell or have some mold on some of them already, which isn’t cool, but sometimes you get lucky, like today they had avocados that were just perfect. This location also has some toys and cleaning supplies and gardening and auto supplies and things like that. It’s not like going to a Walmart or Target but it’s nice to be able to pick up some extra things without making two stops.

This is my go to grocery. While I really like sprouts, the reality is that sometimes you need normal items stocked on the shelves of your local Fry’s. In the last couple years this Fry’s has really improved the overall performance of their fresh fruit and vegetables as well. They are clearly making a strong effort to keep up with sprouts and make sure to bring in the people who want high quality fresh food. I can’t deny, this is also where I get all of my fresh meat and pork. I’ve just found that the other groceries in the area don’t stack up well against the good quality in this store. The Android app that they released is also pretty solid, you can clip digital coupons for a variety of random items and also enable the most gas savings just a few clicks

Nice Fry’s, pretty much always clean, and good quality of employees. The recent redesign has a lot more options for non-food choices and it didn’t affect the food choices.

I love the produce section and the employees are really friendly. The renovations are nice. I wish the clothes department was off in the corner and not given such a prominent spot in the front as I have to walk past it to get to the food. The health food section is really amazing and they always have what I need. The front end staff is amazingly helpful and polite. I appreciate their hard work. I do wish they wouldn’t smoke so close to the front door on break through.

Wow! I came here yesterday during the open house. They’ve remodeled this frys and its so spacious and huge. It basically has everything you need, even clothes! I think the most impressive parts were the vegetables, so many different kinds! From different colored fingerling potatoes, to even Chinese eggplants! And the bananas were the best looking bananas I’ve seen in awhile. Also, I went to Safeway the day before and there wasn’t asparagus but these guys had a bunch! There were many sales too. The other thing I was impressed about was the Starbucks coffee aisle. Looks so fancy. While I was shopping two people greeted me as they were doing their job and asked if I needed help finding anything. This frys is awesome!

Bad day at Fry’s. This store was out of the blueberries on VIP special, out of Jenny-O sausage, out of pork tenderloins, and nearly out of the deli meats that we needed. On top of that, service with a smile seems to have left the building. I asked an employee near the self-check area if he was the self-check attendant. The guy doesn’t even look at me, replies, «No!», and walks away. Then when I do find the attendant, she rudely snatches my coupon from my hand and without saying a word, completes my transaction. What lousy customer orientation. Hope this does not continue.

The store is well stocked, they usually don’t run out of items. Shopping cards are almost always available. The produce is fresh and well stocked. The store is clean. Employees walking around re always ready to assist with finding items. The problem comes when all your groceries are bagged. Little regard to actually building the bag but more like shove anything in as few items in as many bags as possible. Bread gets squished, fruit will more often than not get bruised, cold items with cleaning supplies, etc. What’s the point of great customer service, clean store and friendly employees if the product becomes damaged when bagged?

This Fry’s is your best option in South Ahwatukee. On the corner of 48th and Chandler it has a spacious parking lot and the store is always clean with a friendly staff. Open until 11PM for all your late-night shopping needs.

The new young lady manager is awful. My kid got hurt in their store and all she could ask me was could I fill out some paperwork for her instead of how my child was and if medical attention was needed.

This is my favorite grocery store to go to in the Ahwatukee neighborhood, I shop here more often than Safeway across the street. Fry’s have much better selections than Safeway in all department. I especially love the beer section where you can mix and match 6 bottles of different type of beer and they always have the domestic beer that I like. The front line people, mostly the cashiers work fast pace and I’m usually out of the store from checking out and paying in less than 5 minutes. Definitely a store to shop at when you are in the area.

If a grocery store could be referred to as an experience, then this would be the word to describe this market. When I was growing up in Michigan years ago, grocery stores were as basic and uninteresting as they come. You went in, got your food, paid for it, and left. The inside of the building was like a small warehouse-dull and boring. Fast forward to the 21st Century and Fry’s Marketplace. Just the fact you can sit in a comfy leather sofa or chair and watch television or drink Lattes at the Coffee Shop before you start or on your way out, gives a sense of home. Some guys sit there and take a nap waiting for their spouse to finish shopping. Great sales on food and non-food items. With your Fry’s Shopper Card you can get dollars off your fuel costs. Pharmacy, Housewares, Furniture, Paintings, Patio Furniture can all be purchased under one roof. Talk about a One-Stop Shop! This is not grandma’s old grocery store. There is something for everyone here. Customer Service is great and definitely recommend shopping here.

Things have gotten a lot better at this Fry’s over the years. The selection is still great, and it has gotten even better. They have recently expanded their«health food» section to include selections that rival places like Whole Foods and Sprouts. They have lots of food for people with various dietary needs like gluten allergies, dairy allergies, and so on. They also have a rather extensive selection of alcoholic beverages for a grocery store – probably double that of nearby Safeway and Trader Joe’s. The service has gotten better as well. The front end manager does a good job keeping appropriate lanes open for the business of the store, and there are plenty of service clerks for bagging. They must draw straws to see who has to get carts outside, because the parking lot is always swarming with empty carts – not good if you don’t fancy your car getting dinged up by a rogue cart blown into motion by the wind. Park far away!

Crazy good sushi rolls here for something you’d buy in a grocery store. I can spend $ 10 or so and get my fix as I lounge at home on the couch watching the Real Housewives. What more could I ask for?

ORGANIZATIONOFSTORE: Overall, I find this Fry’s to be organized in a manner that does not compute with me. I do most of my shopping at Trader Joe’s, Fresh and Easy and Safeway. I can easily find things I am looking for at those stores. Because this location is a Fry’s Marketplace, I feel like there is a lot of stuff I have to bypass to get to the grocery aisles. PHARMACY: Competent, but slow. This Fry’s has the best pharmacy of the other Fry’s I have been to in the valley. That said, it is not really set up for dropping off your prescriptions before you shop and picking them up when you’re done. You’re better calling in your prescription or dropping it off a day or two in advance. Usually when I need something right away, I will go to Target because they take 10 minutes — half hour at most. However, the draw to the pharmacy is you get 50 gas reward points PER prescription. Every 100 reward points gets you a 10 cent/gallon gas reward. Fry’s gas stations has the lowest gas prices in my area to begin with, so anything off it makes it even better. PRICES: I have found that the brands I prefer are higher priced at Fry’s than at Safeway. Also, lunch meats are VERY expensive compared to the other stores I frequent; Even their sales on deli meat are never really good. Their butcher counter and seafood counter occasionally run sales, but are generally overpriced. I do not find the quality of products available at the meat counter to be as high as other stores. OVERALL: I come to Fry’s for sales and prescriptions, but I do not really LIKE grocery shopping here. My friends all know that I LOVE grocery shopping. For me to find it even mildly unpleasant is very telling.

I love this Frys. when I lived closer, it was one of the two that I shopped at. This place has it all… electronics, food, pharmacy, and a Bank of America! This particular store is georgous! Very clean, well lit, I love the layout and its a pleasure to shop in. I like it here because its not overdone… the meat and produce section does well for me, becuase its clean and inspires me to cook better food and cook stuff more often. I love it!
