Giving it one star. Called this place a few weeks ago and asked to see if they have«Dead or Alive Xtreme Volleyball 2» and the dude laughed at me on phone. What a douche. He’s lucky I didn’t drive out there for the game cause I would have gave it to him. That’s not how you treat your customers.

Purchased refurbished ps3160 go unit yesterday. Took home set up and try ed to play. Took hours to load games. Called today to see if normal it’s not they offered to exchange but had no 160 in stock. Offered To Refund OR Put Money Towards New Ps4. Why not offer to exchange for the next size memory up at same price? Or for discount? All offered is for me to go to another game stop and pick up 160gb. Or wait a few days for them to get it moves from store to srore. These people were very nice and help full they just need to have more customer service training. I don’t think I’ll be back.

Huge inventory? Check. Knowledgable and friendly staff? Check. Good game recommendations without being pushy about it? Check. Relatively short lines and fast checkout? Check. I have a great experience every time I go there.

If you’ve read any of my reviews for GameStop, you’d know that I usually don’t play video games. I buy them for my son, and then watch the stories unfold as he plays. Since my partner in video game crime is not currently here in Phoenix, I was on my own with the purchase of the new Batman Origins. I pre-ordered the game here at this GameStop. I actually do all of my pre-orders at GameStop because they tend to have the best bonuses. If you’re not into video games, here’s what I’m talking about. When you pre-order a game: 1. You’re guaranteed to have a copy on release day 2. You’ll often get codes that give you«free» access to additional content that doesn’t originally come with the game. Sometimes you can purchase this content later, but other times it’s a one shot deal and no longer available after the release. Some game consoles have exclusive content as well, but there’s not much you can do about that unless you have more than one, which I do not. That brings me to a Unilocal confession. I have played this game until 3-ish in the morning twice since I bought it. When this happens, I feel awful the next day. It’s like I’m doing the walk of shame when I wake up the next morning. I don’t even want to look at myself in the mirror… This is why I need my son! Well… and because I love and miss him, but also to play video games for me! That way I can get things done while he’s playing. As a grown man I have things to do! Things like surfing the interweb, Unilocaling and reading fantasy football stats. Anyway, back on track here… My personal life crisis’s aside, GameStop is my go-to place. When it comes to video game purchasing, GameStop is the place I go about 85% of the time. They’ve really created a great system with their buy, trade or sell games business model. They also have a unique variety of games because of the trade-in system. Games that you won’t find at other retailers, can sometimes be found at GameStop. Their prices are sometimes a little higher than big box stores but unless it’s significantly higher, I’ll usually go with GameStop. If you join their PowerUp Rewards Club you can also get discounts on some purchases, along with other various perks. There’s a free membership or a paid membership(PowerUp Rewards Pro) that costs $ 14.99/year and includes the monthly gamer magazine, Game Informer, in addition to Even More Perks! If you’re a gamer, you probably already know most of this, but if not, and you’re looking for something else in this day and age to drain precious time from your life, swing in to GameStop! You will not be disappointed.
