G-C-G is a nice place to stop in to get a little Tiki/Biker/Day of the Dead/Jason Hill culture fix. You’ll find, among other things, records, a candy jar full of fifty-cent vintage matchbooks that are delightfully sulfur scented, several framed Jason Hill prints for $ 40(he may want to consider going back to screenprinting, as his recent work is very Hipstamatic-esque), t-shirts, lamps, furniture, jewelry, and collectibles. Undeniably a must-hit Melrose vintage shop stop.

G.C.G. is across the street from hamburger mary’s. G.C.G. isn’t that great, but there are some cool things. I love their ashtray selection and if I had 95 dollars I would buy their record console unit. They actually are reasonably priced I think although their lighters dont have fluid so thats a bummer.
