Helix Telecom Inc is registered in Wyoming as a business. It maintains no physical presence in Wyoming. It uses the address of a Register Agent in WY as a fake address. Helix Telecom Inc does business in Arizona, but it not registered in AZ — it is only a trade name in AZ. While Helix Telecom claims that its headquarters are in Phoenix, AZ(that is what it says on their FCC Form 499 filing), Helix Telecom in fact has only a rental post box in AZ at a local UPS Store. Helix Telecom is a shell company which consists one man, David Walker(CEO, Chairman, President, Marketing Director, Chief Engineer, etc), one website, one phone number, and one rental post box. Walker uses Helix Telecom Inc as a shell to protect himself from civil litigation due to his unsavory practices. One unsavory practice is the small claims court shake-down. Walker obtains a person’s name and address, usually through an online auction transaction, then he files small claims litigation against that person in Phoenix, knowing that it is unlikely for a person to travel to AZ to defend themselves. Helix contacts the person and offers to settle out of court or else Helix will ruin the person’s credit record. For the person it seems hopeless — pay off Helix for this crazy claim, or pay the costs of court fees and travel expense to defend yourself. The court’s historical records have many instances of this scheme by Helix/Walker. You can look them up online to confirm. You can also look up the FCC records online to confirm. If a person goes to the cost and effort to travel to AZ to defend themselves in one of these scheming small claims court hearings, you will easily win — Helix /Walker has no evidence obviously so all it takes to win is to pay for the trouble of appearing in court in AZ. When you win, the court will give a judgement against Helix for your costs incurred to defend yourself — but too bad for you as Helix never intends to pay that judgement. You can use the judgement to seize Helix’s assets, but as Helix doesn’t have a physical address this can seem to be rather difficult. It is basically impossible to serve Helix or Walker with court litigation as the only address they list is the post box. Nevertheless, there are a number of other assets which Helix has which are easily discoverable, and can be seized if you have a judgement to enforce.

In opening by business 9 months prior, I chose Helix as my phone provider. Set up was fairly simple. We had a small learning curve at first– support lead me in the right direction to solve my issues. If you decide to give them a try — be patient give it time, it works. I have had a positive experience with Helix.

Where did my review go? mysterious disappearing reviews. i left a scathing review for Helix Telecom. They are shysters and should not be trusted. I did buisness with them on ebay before they were banned from the site. I have regretted it ever since. They have harassed and threatened me. STAYAWAY. Hey Helix, who is this guy with four broken phones that you keep thinking is me? i had enough problems with the single phone i got from you. That single phone you never accepted in the post so you certainly couldn’t speak to it’s condition.

We had previously filed a complaint against the company for failing to meet their contract obligation. The company did not want to do anything to try to correct the matter but instead made up reasons of us being«hostile» as a reason why they were not able to provide support. We officially filed our complaint yesterday with BBB and today after they have already taken our payment out for this month’s services, they disconnected our phone lines before we could transfer our services to a new provider as retaliation for filing our complaint. They refused to answer any service ticket items. They have demonstrated lack of integrity, professionalism, and ethics as required to be a member of BBB. Stay away from this company.
