We’ve been twice, once when it first opened 2⁄14 and today during the street fair. My wife and friends didn’t care for the food very much but I think their opinions may have been clouded by the poor service. I liked the food. They have a Mexican menu and a Southern menu(soul food). Chilli and collard greens were great. Today had a burrito with beef and french fries inside that was very good I thought, my friend didn’t like it. My friend’s 3 year old ordered a hot dog and fries which unfortunately had black pepper on the fries. Apparently 3 year olds don’t like black pepper so her review wasn’t too good. Drinks and some things we ordered were never served and there was no point in asking for the 3rd or 4th time. We had to go looking for our bill, then waited another 10 minutes before I went to the counter to ask about it and they had no idea. I said we’d walk around the street fair and come back. Adding 3 items up required the register apparently. When I came back they had to ask me what we had and then I could finally paid the $ 16. It’s a bar, we’ve been twice, they don’t serve any alcohol. They say they’re waiting on the license. It’s so sad, I really wanted them to make it. Seem like very nice owners, food was good imo, prices weren’t terrible. But they don’t understand the business at all. It’s not about how the register works, it’s about customers.
