Laser Hemorrhoid Center

Because this is supposed to be a Doctor’s Office, which in general is supposed to be dedicated to helping people I am writing this review to put anyone else on notice that may be considering coming here. I put in an appointment 30 days in advance (which is typical wait time) to have a consultation.
I told them specifically, «I will NOT take time off work, to do this appointment. «SPECIFICALLY!
By the way one thing I found it weird, you cant submit your paperwork over email because of HIPPA? In this day in age, what doctor’s office doesn’t give their patients the ability to use email for documents or non-​related doctor communications. Just WEIRD. And if your Office can’t ABIDE by HIPPA you really SHOULD NOT be practicing Medicine PERIOD!!!
Anyway. I get to the day of my appointment and 4 hours before Im scheduled to show I get a call asking if I can move my appointment time? What the? I’m the customer, and Im the one who is supposed to be getting accommodated. Not the other way around? How in the world could a Doctor’s Office do such a thing? So I told them I would go elsewhere for a consultation.
I call them back asking to speak with an Office Manager and the receptionist proceeds to try and ask me why i need to speak with an Office Manager. Finally I speak with an Office Manager and tell her that i want to be rescheduled and they should waive my consultation fee for the inconvenience of them trying to reschedule me and she says no. SO AGAIN. I am i missing something here?
I AM THE CUSTOMER. To make matter’s worse this is a doctor’s office which is supposed to be dedicated to helping people. With the type of specialty they are in I find it Arrogant and downright shameful.
Please consider this if you are needing help for any type of condition. These people dont care about the little things. So How in the world could they possibly care about the big things? How in the WORLD could I or anyone entrust them with a laser on my body when they are so inconsiderate of the customer?

1^st of all — for immediate hemorrhoid help: Clean the area with a wet wipe or a paper towel and water. Next, use a hair dryer to dry the area. Apply an anti fungal foot powder such as Zeasorb (for athletes foot). Repeat as needed. This alone (after a day or so) will probably remedy your hemorhoids and you may not need surgery at all. Also, try taking a daily probiotic to keep your hemorrhoids from flaring up.
BEWARE — Many hemorrhoid creams, after several days of use, can cause fungus & inflammation. I had hemorrhoid for years and after a really bad flare up, I started using Preparation H. I believe that the Prep H actually caused my hemorrhoids to get worse and become inflamed to the point of misery. However, after I used the tips Dr. Thomas gave me (hairdryer & anti fungal powder — I saw almost immediate relief, and to be honest, I probably didn’t need surgery but I already scheduled it so I followed through.)
My review of Laser Hemorrhoid Center: I am so impressed with the Dr. Peter Thomas, the entire nursing staff, the technology, and facility.
From the moment I walked in, I felt completely comfortable and unembarrassed about my hemorrhoids. Dr. Peter Thomas is AWESOME!!! He has a kind trusting face and he is very professional and has been doing this for a long time, over 4,000 successful hemorrhoid laser surgeries, he instilled total confidence in me right away. From the first appointment, he gave me instructions that dramatically and almost immediately relieved my discomfort until he could perform surgery about 6 days later.
When I went in for surgery his staff treated me with love right off the bat and made me feel very comfortable and confident that I was in good hands. The anesthesiologist especially has AWESOME bed side manners just as the nurses did. As I went in for surgery it was very quick process: I remember the anesthesiologist was saying something sweet and rubbing my arm, next thing you know I’m waking up to a sweet nurse saying «Tracy, Tracy, wake up, you can go home now». I couldn’t believe I already had the surgery done. What a very easy and painless process. I wish I had known this was available sooner, I’ve been suffering for a while now.
I think what helped is that I followed his instructions before and after surgery to a T and so far I have had zero discomfort and I feel totally normal and totally relieve and overjoyed that I found this place. I hope that other people suffering with hemorrhoids will take the time to look into this. Laser surgery is comparatively cheap, totally worth it 100 times over, covered by insurance, fast, and it works!

~1 year later follow up review: I got hemorrhoids again with a couple months of surgery, but I’ve been using a hairdryer and anti fungal powder and usually within a day or 2, they go away or reduce to the point where they don’t bother me at all. So even know they’ve reocurred, I still think Dr. Thomas was worth it, if nothing more than for the hair dryer and anti fungal powder tip. I don’t believe my hemorrhoids will ever be so out of control painful that I’ll need surgery again.
