Makeup By Amanda

I called Amanda to schedule an engagement photo shoot with the intention of booking her for the day of my wedding. This would be the first and last time I would ever talk to her. I called back a couple of weeks later to reschedule as I had to go out of town for work and no answer. No problem. I left and message and waited. A week later, still no response. I left another voicemail. Continued to wait. I called again two other times. This last call was about a month ago and I still have had no response from Amanda. Given her complete lack of respect, I scheduled someone else after not hearing after the first week. This experience was a surprise to me, especially because I heard good things about her. I’ve never understood people not returning a call. It’s obviously not a good way to run a successful business and certainly no way to spread good press for your business. Thanks for the courtesy, Amanda.

Amanda helped to create the perfect wedding day! The makeup on my bridesmaids and on the moms was flawless, and they were all so happy with what Amanda and her team were able to do. My make-​up was still in tact well beyond the dance floor — I was sad to wash my face! Amanda is a professional and creative designer and I cannot thank her enough for making me beautiful on my big day!

Great makeup artist! Amanda did my makeup awhile back for a photo shoot and did a beautiful job. I had the pleasure of witnessing several other ladies who also had their makeup done and everyone was stunning. She is very personable and makes you feel comfortable. I highly recommend Amanda.

Amanda is amazing, sweet, and truly talented! She did makeup on me and 7 bridesmaids for my wedding. I had originally booked her for me and 8 bridesmaids, but when one of my bridesmaids was a no-​show, she ended up having an hour of time where nobody was booked. She was totally understanding and didn’t charge me anything extra. She not only did an amazing job on our makeup, but was so helpful in making my day stress free by taking the time to calm me down and talk to me when I was upset about my no-​show bridesmaid. My bridesmaids and I ALL received tons of compliments on how amazing our make up looked and it was so fun working with her!

Amanda did my wedding makeup and a trial, as well as doing one of my bridesmaid’s makeup. I showed her pictures of what I wanted and it turned out perfectly! She was very thorough in asking what look I was going for, how much coverage I was comfortable with, and making sure it was exactly what I wanted. She has a great personality and she was fun to chat with while she was doing my makeup. I felt really comfortable with telling her exactly what I envisioned for my makeup and then changing something afterward and she was so receptive and easygoing! My bridesmaid can be particular about her makeup but she was absolutely thrilled with the end result and was very happy she decided to have Amanda do her makeup. I absolutely loved my makeup for my wedding day and was so happy with Amanda’s beautiful work! Our photographer even complimented my makeup all day! Amanda is excellent at what she does and I would not hesitate to recommend her to anyone looking for a makeup artist. I wish she could do my makeup every day! :)

Amanda always does an amazing job on my makeup, and last night my makeup for my unicorn Halloween costume was no exception! Whether she’s creating a colorful, glittery unicorn look or subtle everyday makeup, she always does it better than I could have imagined. She always takes the time to consult with me prior to doing the makeup and really listens carefully. However, the real reason I go to Amanda is because I don’t even think about looking at myself in the mirror until she’s finished applying the makeup because I always have confidence that it’s going to look fabulous!

Amanda is really great at what she does! I go to Amanda to get my makeup done all the time 1) because she has incredible skill and I always look beautiful after and 2) because she really caters to what I want. She can do something really creative and artistic or if I ask for a specific look, she LISTENS! and creates just what I’m looking for. I’ll say what I want for the end result and she’ll ask the right questions to fully understand what I want and she’ll make it happen! I would suggest her for anyone!
