Massage Envy – Ahwatukee

Front office staff was nice. Received the expected monthly program pitch, but wasn’t high pressure which was appreciated. Extra star for them.
Two months ago I called in for a «Swedish style relaxation massage» and received what I have to say was the worst massage experience in my life. It seems when you order this type of massage the likelihood you get assigned to a junior therapist is higher.
I grudgingly paid, but should have requested a refund, or better therapist.

Watch out when you try to cancel, any credits you have are gone in 30 days. There is a class action lawsuit going on about this. Watch your back. Scam

Everything is rainbows and unicorns until you try to cancel your membership. I recently decided to cancel my membership as a result of my financial situation. I told them this when I signed the cancelation paperwork. I have several prepays to use up in a month. Every time I come in I get harassed about canceling and told I should freeze my account instead. How about making a freaking note on my account and not harassing me EVERY TIME about cancelling. Since I have several prepays the manager scheduled my appointments. She suggested I do facials to use up some of my prepays. I’ve never had one of their facials so I just went with it. Once my facial was over I was told I had to pay an additional $ 10 for the products used on my face. So the $ 59 I prepaid didn’t cover everything! I told the front desk lady I was upset and had never been told there would be additional costs. I have two more facials set up that I plan to switch to massages. Once my prepays are used up I will never go to Massage Envy again.

Great rejuvenation and therapy the renew a body worn down from exercise & travel. Kathy is a terrific therapist for active people & help keeps my body in balance. The 60-​min massage is really only a 45 – 50 minute session though.

I get a massage every month for whatever aches and pains I’ve had. Since I’ve been going I’ve discovered that I have had far fewer aches since I’ve been going regularly. The staff is great and the process is always quick and painless.

Let me start off by saying «I’m in love».
Last week was my first time at massage envy, in fact it was my first professional massage. I decided to get one because I had a pinched nerve in my arm and a coworker suggested I try a massage before other treatments. When making the appointment, I was able to get in the same day! The lady scheduling listened to my concerns and reason for appointment and suggested a masseuse who she felt would be the best fit. She suggested Craig.
Upon arriving, I was greeted right away and offered water while I wait. Upon checking in I was escorted to a dim, relaxing waiting room to wait for the masseuse. I waited for about 3 – 4 mins then Craig came and brought me back to the room. He listened to the reason of my visit and suggested we do a deep tissue massage to really get into the muscles. While giving the massage he provided suggestions to help elevate some of the pain. He was very through and informational.
At the end of the massage I felt GREAT! So much so I ended up signing up for a membership. Craig was amazing and had it not been for all his help and information, I might not have signed up. I’ve never been a fan of massages, but after this one… I think its safe to say I will soon become a regular customer!

I’ve gotten a lot of massages in my life but Sandra is a goddess-​send! I told her initially that I have a physically demanding job and slight scoliosis– and she goes the extra mile to reset everything in its proper place while educating me on how I can better take care of myself during those long work trips. Definitely the most experienced and understanding massage therapist I’ve ever met.

This is my first time to this Massage Envy location and so far, so good!
I had Nicole who was recommended for firm pressure, and she did a great job.
The receptionists and massage therapists did a good job of consultation/​recommendations so I could come back and get the most out of my massage.
This was the first location I had been to that had a «relaxation room» (dark, music, aromatherapy, tea/​water, comfy chairs) so maybe it’s been a while since I’ve been to one, but that was a nice touch.
Very professional. I will definitely be back :)

Have been a Massage Envy member for 8 years. This Ahwatukee location is super close and convenient, so am ONLY recommending this location.
Have had multiple therapists throughout the 8 years which have EXCEEDED my expectations for QUALITY massages. How often does that happen, right?
Easy to make an appt. with a QUALITY and EXPERIENCED therapist which specializes in the type of massage I am looking for treatment at that time.
Quality massages, flexibility in scheduling, and customer service are the 3 keys to success which are remarkable at this location.
Had a severe auto accident last year, and has been one of the many essential KEYS to my road to recovery.
Thanks to Maria, the asst. mgr., and so many of the staff who have EXCEEDED my expectations is numerous ways!

Really enjoy the membership here. They are always willing to work on scheduling and will try and fit us in during the most convenient times. A massage is always a nice way to start off the weekend, and this massage envy location never falls short!

Just a heads up, sometimes their therapists don’t show up so they will cancel your massage with very little notice (same day) and there is no consideration for your schedule. If you cancel the same day you lose your massage or ½ of the value but they can cancel within minutes of your appointment and there is no consequence for this action.

Meli was my massage therapists and it was my first time getting a back massage. I was relaxed and comfortable. I am going again.

Massages are always great. I’ve had two massages here with two different therapist, and both timea they have been wonderful. Great office, and ambiance.

I finally broke down and purchased the membership. It is wonderful to know at a minimum I will have a massage or facial each month. Perfect way for me to lock in me time. The product line for the facials is also superior to anything I have purchased over the counter. AND the products last a long time since you only need to use a tiny bit. As for the massages, the therapists I have been assigned so far have been terrific.

Wonderful prenatal massage! Everyone was so nice, office was very clean, and I even signed up for a membership! Can’t wait for my next one next week!

I just had the most AMAZING massage with Ryan. He’s a gentle giant that saved my back tonight. I highly recommend a massage from him. He’s a life saver!!!

I only gave them 4 stars out of 5 because they’re located next to Target. Their previous location, just a few miles west provided an aesthetic element that seemed to complete the relaxation experience. Remove that ONE complaint, and focus on the MANY awesome qualities of this location, you can’t find a better place where it doesn’t matter who does your massages because they’re all excellent. The reception staff is always friendly and helpful and the entire experience is nothing short of awesome.

My boyfriend Eric and I come to this location for couples massages at least twice a month. We love it here! The staff is friendly and we always get the appointments we want. Every masseuse is awesome and they have their own techniques. I have not had a massage that I did not enjoy. The spa is clean and relaxing. The location is great as well, especialy for date nights. After our massage we can grab dinner and a movie. I strongly recommend this location!

Saw Melly for my massage on ⁶⁄₁. She is the best massage therapist I have ever seen. Not only a great deep tissue massage but very personable as is the front desk. An all around great experience.
