Just like any car dealer, they are to be avoided if at all possible for routine maintenance and repair work, since they typically overcharge as compared to perhaps independent, mom ‘n pop auto shops. Mel Clayton Ford is like an octopus if you ever go there in terms of agressive advertising. I went there for some diagnostic help(I ended up going elsewhere for the actual work). I filled out their sheet which had options for how I wanted future contacts to be handled regarding advertising, etc. I said I didn’t want to be contacted by email, phone or snail mail about anything to do with advertising. However, they ignored that. Once they had my name, number and address from my ONEVISIT, they would not let go. It took several attempts over a period of months to get them to stop and even though it’s been a year since then, every few months I get a flyer in the mail.
