Mountain Park Health Center

I brought my 2.5 YO son in here for a sick exam and everyone was so great. The check in was fast and Lina went above and beyond helping us, the MA’s were on top of their game and Dr. Van was amazing. It’s the first time my toddler didn’t cry when visiting a doctors office. I recommend this place to everyone.

Mountain Park Health Center is a network of health centers in the Phoenix area. I chose them for an initial visit based off my insurance provider’s website since they were listed as accepting new patients and most other places like the Mayo Clinic had wait times of several weeks to months. I had no idea that they focused on affordable/​accessible healthcare, and I’ll admit that did make me question the quality that I would be getting. However it has ended up being just fine. In fact, I wish a place like this had been available to me when I was uninsured. They treat all people with dignity and respect regardless of income or background, which everyone deserves.
The facilities at the Gateway location, which specializes in family medicine and women’s health, are clean and updated. It is very easy to schedule appointments and get in and out quickly. The providers are personable and knowledgable. For now, I plan on sticking with them.

I have been coming here since I moved to Arizona, and I love it. They genuinely care, it’s easy to schedule an appointment, and they rarely take long. The front staff is so nice and helpful. Between myself (pregnant and unpregnant), and 3 kids, I swear I have seen every doctor and each one has been great. If you’re pregnant, get Jennifer Allen as your obgyn, she is the best!
Their new facility here is amazing! It’s state of the art and fancy. It’s also nice to have WIC in the same building, so I can take care of everything all at once. The WIC ladies are incredibly nice and understanding and accommodating. They also have free wifi, always a plus.
Let’s just say I live in East Mesa and gladly drive 30 minutes for appointments here.
