I have been a patient of Dr. Nava for many years and my experience here the past couple visits has been very disappointing. The women at the front desk are rude and unhelpful. It takes an hour to see my doctor every time I come even with my appointment scheduled. I will not be returning again.

Oh my! I am SHOCKED at the negative reviews! I have known Dr. Nava and his amazing staff for quite some time and see them on occasion. I think the staff there are some of the most amazing people I have ever met. They are very genuine and kind and I have never had a negative experience. I highly recommend Dr. Nava and PA Angie. They are both, along w/the medical assistants and office manager, are very kind, caring, and compassionate. The central location is also very accessible and parking is a breeze.

I had a terrible experience at this office. I went to this office because it was recommended to me. However it took me three visits to get a full physical including a pap smear. When I call to schedule my second visit I asked if they took my new insurance, I was told that they did. I cleared my schedule to go to my appointment. When I get there and I’m about to pay my copay I am told that I have to pay out of my own pocket because the office has issues with my insurance. However, when I called to make the appointment I was never informed of that issue. I am a busy person, like many of you, and I have to take the time to go do this, so I decided to pay out of my own pocket. Before I saw the doctor I asked the staff if there would be any issues at the time. The doctor came in to tell me that she didn’t recommend that I move forward with the Pap smear and to come back at a later date. What I was not informed at that point was that I had to pay again. I went ahead and scheduled another appointment and talked to the office manager. She told me that I would have to pay $ 45 for an office visit when I returned. I didn’t have to pay for the pap again. I asked why if nothing was done during this visit, why would I have to pay again? The basic answer was, it is what it is. Because I needed to get this done and i had already invested two visits, I scheduled a third appointment. Today, when I showed up to my appointment, I was told that I had to pay $ 90, the full price. This is not what I was told, now the office visit was $ 90, same cost as the full physical said the office manager. What? Does that make any sense to you? Well that is not what she told me the visit. I was upset at this point because now I have to pay out of my own pocket again and I should have been informed that I would have to do that BEFORE coming to the second visit and when I called to verify if the office accepted my new insurance, I should have been told that i would have to pay out of my pocket until the office issues with the insurance were resolved. If i would have known, i could have looked for an alternative doctor. Instead of apologizing for the misunderstanding, the office manager became rude and confrontational. She told me I could leave and not be seen if I didn’t want to. Like you, and as an attorney who runs her own practice, my time and my health are precious. I took The the time to be there and I needed the service to get done. The staff needs to be trained and informed properly so they can give accurate information to the patients. The office manager is unprofessional and rude. Needless to say I am very dissatisfied with the customer service and lack of professionalism in this office and I will not be going back.

The staff at this office is terrible! I showed up at 7:00am and did not get in to see the doctor until 8:15 and left the office at 9:00am. 2 hours to get looked at. The front staff was completely rude and the doctors response time was slow. I will NEVER go to see this doctor again.

Made an appointment as a new patient. Arrived 10 minutes early to fill out paperwork. Filled out name on clip board at front desk. Was not given any paperwork. Called up 10 minutes later to give insurance card, still not given any paperwork. Called up another 10 minutes later to fill out paperwork. 3 minutes later went to turn in paperwork but no one to be found. Stood at window like an idiot for 10 more minutes waiting for anyone to come back to get paperwork. Smelled food thru window. Wondered if they left for lunch break. Finally woman comes back and takes paperwork. Called back to window 10 minutes later to make co-payment. Asked how much longer. Told very soon with no apology or care in the world. Sat down for another 10 minutes. Wondered when Ashton Kutcher is going to bust in and tell me I’ve been punked. Went to tell woman I am leaving. Once again, no woman at desk. Total ghost town. Wondered if I am in the middle of a bad dream. Shook head and walked out. No call from office to even see what happened. Must not have been the first person to get fed up with waiting at this place. Lost $ 15 copay and 55 minutes of my own lunch time. Will never come back or recommend this Dr or his office. Horrible staff usually means horrible Dr. Will dispute copay on credit card statement. I feel sorry for the other chumps still sitting in the waiting room. Wondered how long they have been coming here putting up with this nonsense. You do realize there is a Dr’s office on almost every corner?
