Came in here today. The lady working there was super nice. Awesome store. I love how she has the clothing organized by style/year. Makes browsing very easy. Great collection, great quality, good pricing as well. Someone said to expect«vintage prices» here but honestly they are all very affordable especially for vintage clothing. I got a vintage YSL blazer here for under $ 30 and it was 20% off. So many cool things I could have easily spent some hours in there. I’ll come back soon when I get paid again! I walked in intending on not buying anything but left with a couple items. Great quality, fair affordable pricing, very well organized selection. Out of all the vintage shops I visited today this one was my favorite.

My mom and I went to multiple shops this week looking for bridesmaid dresses and I ended up buying three here. Very helpful and fun. The dressing room is large as well as the overall store. The hats are to die for too!

Love love love this store! The staff are knowledgeable, friendly, and the woman that runs it(owns it maybe?) has a serious sense of humor! I went in looking for vintage clothes for a themed dinner, and not only did she take care of me(seriously…white leopard print leather pants!!!), we were laughing the whole time, AND I had the best outfit at the dinner! To top it off, my girlfriend saw numerous furniture pieces that she loved and wants to go back for. No matter what you need, stop by this place… they have so much merch and so many nooks to find cool stuff in… did I say I love this place?! Can I give it 6 stars? Thank you Pearly Mae’s!!!

Do NOT come here if you have children, you will not be welcome. I made the mistake of coming here to find some cool vintage jewelry while on vacation and, as soon as I walked in, it was clear that they didn’t want me and my daughter browsing their precious merchandise. I guess they had no need for my business, even though I was the only person in their shop. Either I missed the daily rush or they’ve already chased away the other customers.

This is an amazing retro vintage store. A ton of inventory and really well organized(there’s even a guys room!). While the stuff is awesome, the prices are a bit steep. You could spend a lot of time(and money) here.

If I could give no stars I would have. I brought a dresser earlier this week and let me say they are very good at hiding flaws. From the front view of the dresser, there were a few scratches which I thought were no big deal. It was when we loaded the dresser into my car I saw the major damage. Employee stated«it was water damage on the right side so that is why they offered a cheap deal.» It was no water damage as there were hairs from dogs/cats in the drawers and the leggings on the right side were spoiled from pet residues leaving the wood to deteriorate. One could only see when dresser is on its side. The foul smell is beyond disgusting that I feel cheated in buying something that was hidden when defects like this should be brought to the customer’s attention before buying. I would have not mind if I knew of carpentry but now I am at lost with losing money and having a bad smelling dresser. Beware of what you buy and pay close attention to detail(meaning even the bottoms of furniture). I thought I had an honest sell but turns out I just need to pay attention to every detail. Update to comment made by owner: I find it very difficult to believe how you seem to recall this sale as I spoke to a woman who specifically pointed out the scratches and we both discussed with some paint that is not big deal. My mother who also witnessed this statement joked about getting a discount. The woman said«I’m not the owner of this shop but I would if I could.» Like mention before, I was okay with the scratches it was after the purchase I was told about the water damage. By the way, there was no ticket on the dresser to begin with and the employee had to search for a price. Thank you for the very late response on this matter as it was dealt with long ago.

Pearly Mae’s has a ton of cute, eclectic items. For that I am giving 2 stars. I am only giving 2 because I found a beautiful dress, tried it on, and sqealed with glee when I saw the tag; $ 5!!! I skipped up to the counter with my treasure only to dicover that the cashier rang me up for $ 36?!? Seems the dress had ANOTHER tag(their ridiculously marked up tag) which was $ 36. The lady then proceeded to gripe that they paid the lady $ 5 for it and she was at fault for«forgetting to remove the tag». Uh, wouldn’t that be YOUR job? Anyhow, I buy a lot of resale and the price was excessive for an item you got for $ 5. My husband was able to talk her into $ 30, but I feel they should have honored the $ 5 tag and just been more careful in the future. Just to let patrons know how much of a markup they are being charged ir thinking about buying there.

Pearly Mae’s is your grandmother’s attic, assuming your grandmother was a Hollywood diva who served with the WACs in WWII, commuted to Paris(where she had a pied-à-terre with her third husband, a member of Hungarian royalty twenty years her junior) during her career, and ultimately retired to Arizona to break horses. Her dude ranch served a lot of casseroles, requiring an amazing supply of now-vintage Pyrex. Most of us need to put in the effort at being 20% more fascinating, just to keep up with Pearly Mae’s. Things I remember: –Acres of sparkly vintage jewelry. If I once start looking seriously at rings there, I’m going to end up with my fingers too encrusted in sparklies to type. –Hats. Highly respectable hats. Also an entire room full of shoes. And another room of menswear. –Bright colored satin-y and silk-y dresses in patterns and styles that I can’t even place, but they speak the international language of «the party didn’t start until I got here.» Most also appeared capable of covering enough real estate that one doesn’t have to be age nineteen and size two in order to exude fabulousness. –Pyrex-mania! If you think you can’t find a Pyrex pattern that would go with your kitchen, stop in here and be proven wrong. –The sort of sofa that settles into your living room with a little flirtatious shrug and is all«helloooo, end tables!» There was a good deal more, but you get the idea. Pearly Mae is clearly related to Auntie Mame… life is a banquet, and so’s the range of stock here.

Really fun little place. There is tons of stuff to look at, gawk at and make you feel old depending on your age. It’s priced for«vintage» so don’t expect to find any thrift store bargains. Don’t miss the two rooms in back with men’s stuff and purse-and-shoe room. Also, check out the turtle peep show on your left as you walk in. They’re super cute with healthy«appetites»(assuming it’s consensual — we’ll just say it is).

I am a big fan of this place! Jeanne had a great sense of value and style. Her prices are reasonable and her merchandising is very creative! Want a vintage hat?? Cowboy boots? French linen napkins? Books about Hollywood? One-of-a-kind costume jewelry? Yep, you can find all of those things, plus more!
