Wasted 6 months working with PepSolar only for them to show up the day of my install and say they couldn’t install on the roof I have… which is standard clay tile all over AZ. Then they told me it would be an additional $ 8,000 charge for roof work! In addition to the $ 48,000. Run!

I wouldn’t trust this solar company if my life depended on it. Very rude and unprofessional. I spoke with the COO and owner in person and I have never felt more disrespected and put in a awkward and uncomfortable situation in my life.

Overall price was on par with similar micro-​inverter systems, PEP followed up quickly within a day on all questions. The install was painless at least from PEP. on the other hand be prepared to wait on APS they lost paperwork, and took a long time to finalize and hook the system up to the grid (won’t be generating anything until they hook it up), but PEP followed up and kept me in the loop on APS’s progress and helped push APS along. I would definitely recommend PEP for anyone looking to install a high quality rooftop PV system.
