First off — hold your 70’s judgement of Jazzercise including distant memories of leg warmers. This isn’t your mama’s Jazzercise :) Phoenix Jazzercise is a dedicated center that is equipped with weights, mats, tubes and balls. With over 40 classes each week(as early as 5:45 a.m. and as late as 6:50 p.m.) — you just need to show up with your tennis shoes — no more excuses! Oh and if you need child care check the schedule as some classes have a sitter you can pay extra for. One of the things I love about Jazzercise is that I get a complete workout in 60 minutes(stretch, cardio and sculpting). If you don’t have a lot of time and just want a good workout without the meat market of traditional gyms you have come to the right place. Annette and all of the instructors there make this a fun and comfortable workout for all skill levels — they offer suggestions for low impact/high impact so your workout is really what works for you. I like to mix it up with some of the newer class formats like Strength 60, Core and Fusion. Highly recommend you give it a try.

I Love PJC. the instructors are wonderful!!! I’ve been a member for over 10 years. I prefer working out early in the morning because it didn’t conflict with my kids schedules, but they have 40 classes, so it works for everyone’s schedule. Tthe people at the center are great and I’ve made some wonderful friendships over the years. The music is hip, fresh with new routines all the time. More importantly they incorporate stregth routines with cardio for a great overall workout.

I LOVEJAZZERCISE! A little background… My mom owns her own Jazzercise franchise back in Michigan so I have been taking Jazzercise classes with her since I was 9 and then helped her start her own classes in 2002. When I moved to Arizona last year I knew I had to find a Jazzercise location so I wouldn’t miss it(and a little piece of my mom). My first Jazzercise experience was at the Metro Jazzercise center and it only took me 2 months to realize that I really fit in. I took a few months off and when I got back from Michigan after the holidays I REALLY wanted to find a Jazzercise center that I loved and I am happy to say that I LOVE this one! First, wave goodbye to any stereotypes you may have for Jazzercise.(No we don’t wear spandex leotards and bounce around to 80s music… I save that for my living room) It really is an awesome workout, a fun way to break a sweat, and a GREAT way for me to get my dance fix(I am a closet case dance freak!). All classes are a little different because of the different instructors and song choices but they all use popular dance music and incorporate both cardio and strength training. The reason I LOVE this location is… 1. Most of the instructors are VERY good and have a lot of energy. 2. The classes are always full which is great to bring up your energy if you are tired. 3. The space is large enough that there is always enough space to move! 4. VERYCLEAN 5. The schedule is awesome-they offer 35 classes a week!(I love the 5:45 am and the 5:45 pm classes!) 6. Great price! Unlimited Jazzercise for $ 39/month! Just check it out and I know you will have fun!
