I heard they had Moscow Mule copper cups on sale– and indeed they were prominently displayed at the entrance of the store. Done deal! In and out in five minutes.

Came in prior so knew what I wanted. Only location I’ve been to where they don’t see if you want help. Usually someone is there when you don’t want them haha. Anyways lady helped me after asking but she wanted to make sure I was buying, to not waste her time? Then I was hounded by 2 associates for a credit card, no I’m using a gift card, no I don’t want one, no don’t keep asking. No don’t care about points, no! I get it I’ve done retail but enough is enough. Overall just not a good feel. If I didn’t have that gift card I probably wouldn’t have bought there.

Pier 1 has unique décor at a reasonable price. I must have been in here a 100 times but I’ve rarely ever purchased anything. Maybe it’s just me but I just don’t need most of the stuff they sell here. I did buy a nice bamboo tree plant once and while I was checking out everyone that walked by asked me about it. That was cool. But in the end I prefer Cost Plus World Market to Pier 1. The staff there is friendlier.

Great place to shop for holiday decorations and everything else you need for entertaining year round. Most of their stuff is very unique looking, even though it is a chain. They seem to change their products frequently so when I purchase something there, my friends usually say «oh, that’s cool, where did you get it?» instead of «oh, I have one of those». They also have cool, globally inspired furniture pieces at reasonable prices.
This location is located on Ray Rd. in Ahwatukee, in the big shopping center across from Target where the Sweet Tomatoes is. The store is at the west end of the complex, in between Old Navy and Keegans.
