Jay MacFarlane(sorry, I can’t refer to anyone without a DO or MD as a doctor) is a great guy, a great philosophy on life and health and wonderful correspondent with patients. He gave me his personal cell phone number to text /call him regarding my interest in acupuncture to help a nicotine addiction. He knew I was flying in from out of town and accommodated my weekend need for treatment as I was only going to be in town for 5 days. He was caring and compassionate. He probably deserved 5 stars, which he gets for service for sure, but in reality his acupuncture technique did not curb my nicotine cravings as it had done so in the past with other practitioners. Don’t get me wrong, I still quit my nicotine habit, I feel personally I’ve had better results with other acupuncturists. So why 4 stars? Sometimes acupuncture works, some times it doesn’t. I don’t doubt Jay’s experience or expertise and he should be the first chiropractor you see should you be interested in seeing one.

I met Dr. Jay McFarlane at an Employee Wellness fair– he had a dynamic and friendly personality coupled with a wealth of knowledge– and a low cheese factor… So even though his office is QUITE a bit farther than I normally venture out, I made an appointment for that SATURDAY(YES, he has Saturday appointments! And some late night ones as well during the week). The office confirmed my appointment the day before, and made sure I had good directions and how to navigate around construction(nice little bonus) and once I arrived, they were nice and attentive. I give Dr. Jay major points for not only asking me what my concerns were, but addressing them and making notes. I am extremely timid when it comes to the neck snapping portion of the appointment, he addressed my concerns, explained what he was doing and WHY and then did a quick but gentle(as it can be when you get your neck cranked on, anyway) adjustment. Hands down the best chiropractor I have been to yet. I have to go back next Saturday to check out the xrays, etc– but I know I will be going back as I felt 100 times better leaving than I did entering. :)
