Pinspiration

Thank you Pinspiration for a fun night! I had seen this place come up on Unilocal and couldn’t wait to check it out since I’ve been working on channeling my creative side. A Groupon came up for a Splatter Date so I thought I’d purchase it to share a fun date night with my boyfriend. It included the following: a cheese/​crackers/​chocolate plate, 2 glasses of champagne, and either 1 big canvas or 2 small canvases.
When we got there, they had the snack plate already set up for us along with all of our paint «equipment» — smocks, booties, and goggles. We were shown back to the Splatter room in which we had 20 minutes in to create our masterpieces. There were a few different paints set up for our use. We definitely had a lot of fun during our time in the room! 20 minutes isn’t too much time, but it was enough for us to get some solid splatters onto our canvas. Just a note — the canvas doesn’t have anything on the back to hang it up so you’ll have buy that to get it up on the wall.
Since we had gone a bit later in the evening (reservation for 8:00pm), we were the last people in the Splatter room. They close at 10:00pm so we let our paintings dry while we walked around High Street. The paintings typically take a couple of hours to dry so they gave us some newspaper for the car since ours hadn’t come close to drying yet.
Overall, I think the experience was a bit overpriced however it was a really fun night. I’d recommend this place to others for a fun, unique evening. Maybe go a bit earlier in the day for the splatter experience, grab food or drinks in the area while your painting dries, and then go back to pick it up.

What a creatively fun spot! It’s like Pinterest comes to life which would make sense with the name… BUT unlike trying to figure it all out on your own through Pinterest, they help you and break down the steps at Pinspiration so every product turns out successful.
My boyfriend and I went and did the Splatter Paint date which was a lot of fun! It was a nice change of pace for a night out with my boyfriend and we had a chance to be creative together. My canvas is hanging on my wall in my bedroom and every time I look at it, it makes me smile!
I’d love to head back there with some girlfriends to get our crafting on. They have several projects to chose from. During the holiday seasons they also have projects geared toward that holiday.
They also have birthday parties available for little ones and kid-​related projects! I wish this place was around when I was young because I would have LOVED it.
I’d highly recommend to just going there to check it out and ask questions. It’s best to see all the things they offer in person!

Pinspiration brings to life your inner Martha Stewart through fine wine and great instruction. I’ve always loved going to pottery and painting events, but Pinspiration takes it to another level! I’d like to think I’m a hipster Martha Stewart, but we all know that about as crafty as I get ends at taking a good instagram photo.
We did «alcohol tiles» which involves swabbing a tile with alcohol and dropping color onto it to make a mosaic/​tie-​dye art. It did not take too long to dry at all. It was pretty easy to erase mistakes because there was an alcohol-​saturated cotton swab that facilitated the movement and growth of the ink. I saw that another customer was making a grey and white chevron coat hanger that was adorable. It’s fantastic to have the crafting supplies available at your fingertips because that’s what makes all of the crafts we see online so difficult to follow through with due to the endless supply list. Here, you don’t even have to worry about spilling paint on your carpet!
I can definitely imagine bringing my bridesmaids here one day as a treat and bonding event. It would also be great for team-​builders at work or just a great family fun night! From birthday parties to a girls night out, this place rocks!

For some reason, when I think of Pinspiration, the Beastie Boys song pops into my head! I love it though…
Kudos to Brooke, Pinspiration’s Founder and CEO, on coming up with the brilliant idea for this unique concept… this place is the perfect destination for a craft connoisseur or a wannabe like me ;)
I popped in recently to check it out, and I plan on returning soon to get my hands dirty and make something. The question is… what will it be? There are so many options! Decisions, decisions… there seems to be something for everyone with a wide range of prices and levels of expertise required. I’ll update once I decide!

I’m writing a second review because I had an epic week at Pinspiration! It started off with my daughter’s birthday party, a mom’s night and then I went to the story time.
I highly recommend Pinspiration for a birthday party. The staff was so organized and helpful, the kids (and adults) had a great time and they took care of everything! Our group did the splatter paint, tiles, spin art and cupcake decorating. It was great to see the kids having so much fun and it was so nice to actually be able to enjoy the party and not have to worry about anything. The staff took care of all the details and kept the kids entertained and having fun.
The mom’s night out was a great time. We let the staff know ahead of time that a large group was coming in. They had a large space reserved for our group and they worked so hard to make sure everyone had fun. It was a such a great place to get to know moms from my daughter’s class. We crafted, enjoyed the wine menu and shared tons of laughs.
The story time was a lot of fun. I took my 4 year old son. The story teller was great with the kids. She involved them in the story and held the kids attention. Then there were several crafts and a snack for the kids. Lots of fun for the kids and moms.
My daughter saw a couple crafts that she wants to make so I’m sure we’ll be headed back there soon!

My friend and I were very excited to attend «Mickey’s Tea Party» this evening. We had looked at pictures on their website of past events and saw the adorable Mickey shaped finger sandwiches, sweets, Mickey place settings with mason jar drink glasses, and amazing craft projects including an autograph book. Imagine our complete disappointment when our «tea party» consisted of cheese pizza, and a bucket of pretzels and popcorn. No Mickey themed place settings on the table either. The crafts were thrown together on a table and not enough supplies were available. There were 2 glue guns in the room which were used by the same 2 girls for over an hour. We asked for more glue guns and were told there weren’t any. (We found 2 more in the main room, not being used.) I needed a stick for my «wand» and was handed a paint smeared stick in which she had to take stickers off of it. I asked for an unused one and was told they didn’t have any more. They did finally find 2 for my friend and I. The ad for the event stated there would be visits by several Disney characters. Maleficent was the only one. I told the woman behind the bar when I checked out that we were misled by the website and this was not at all what we were expecting. She said she would «pass our concerns along.» I had very high hopes for this business and was looking forward to coming back for future events and projects. I don’t want to be disappointed again so I won’t be back.

The projects are great it’s hard to choose so I guess I will have to come back again!

A crafters and creator’s mecca, it is truly as good as it gets.
This is a destination in Northern Phoenix for date nights, mommy daughter dates, birthday parties, and more festivities.
Options are endless here. Crafts and projects here change regularly, in keeping with current trends and seasons. Do anything from creating your own «Jackson Pollock» on the splatter wall, to creating your own Fairy House, or personalized menu board for your kitchen. Check the project menu for their ever changing menu of crafts projects. For the coming Fall season, you can make items such as burlap and tie ribbon wreaths, mason jar leaf candle holders, or your very own bulletin board with pennant.
The kid’s parties are amazing, as they have an entire room to themselves where they can create canvas paintings, splatter wall paintings, enjoy s’mores, cut, color, paste, and glitter. All in a whimsical setting that invites free play of imagination and child.
Parents can enjoy themselves in the main hall where bubbles, beer and wine are served at the bar.
Local handmade goods and DIY kits are available here, so it is also a great spot for purchasing unique gifts.

Oh my god! Where to start? My experience here was so fun! I had two glasses of the sauv blanc which was delish, and we did the mason jar craft (seen in picture) the girls there were the sweetest women on the planet! Jill started us off very personable and cheery. Haley helped us throughout our craft making process, very knowledgable and had great suggestions. Also I like that if you mess up one of your craft supplies (I.e. Cutting too much of the paper when your trying to just trim) they have no problem getting you a new one! I can’t wait till this place becomes a franchise and makes its way to the Bay Area! Also Brooke the owner is just a stand up lady, very sweet, and bursting with creative ideas!

LOVE THIS PLACE! Went a few weeks ago and had a blast! We made very cute mugs and had a great experience socializing in the fun atmosphere. Cannot wait to go back!

Absolutely wonderful experience at two classes with Haley. I loved both chalkboard calligraphy and intro to calligraphy. I will definitely be back to try the splatter room with my boyfriend and son. I feel this place is going to be visited by me often. Great, helpful, and genuinely caring staff.

Pinspiration is a totally unique experience. I am so happy with the crafts I made. I got to choose my craft and then the staff was so friendly and helpful in the process. I went with a group of women and we all had so much fun and enjoyed the easy flow of visiting and crafting. We also enjoyed the snacks and wine and the ambiance and positive energy of the space. I took a little tour and this will definitely be a place I will soon bring my grandchildren. It will be a destination when I have visitors from out of town and also a place I will enjoy going with my local friends and family. The options are so numerous and I’m already thinking about my next project. Where else can you go and have access to supplies and ideas and all the support you’d ever need to be creative and have such a unique and enjoyable time. I highly recommend Pinspiration!

The ladies that work there were amazing and so helpful during the process. They also serve a wide range of amazing wines, which helps to loosen you up before you get to painting or creating!
I would definitely suggest that you make a reservation to make sure you have a space because it filled up by the end of the night… Also don’t be worried if you don’t have an idea in mind, they have a tablet at every table that you can use to explore the internet to find what you want to make. I don’t want to make this review too long… I’m just going to leave on the note that you should definitely try it for yourself it’s well worth the time.
4 stars because it’s a bit overpriced. You can make the same thing at home for a ¹⁄₅ of the cost.

I took my kids into Pinspiration to see/​tour the birthday party area and possible crafts for a party. The girl waiting on us told my kids they could play with paint that was open on a table while she took me to the front desk to review their party policies and deposit info. My kids came back covered in paint.
I washed their clothes several times and the paint won’t come off. I called the store and was told that the kids should have been wearing aprons, which were NOT offered to us or even mentioned. The manager, Brooke, apologized but not once offered any advice on helping to clean or salvage my kids clothes, nor did she offer to reimburse me. My sons outfit is completely ruined.
I have since cancelled the party we were planning. I felt the customer service I received was unacceptable. I won’t be going back there.

Fun selection of crafts in all experience levels. Splatter room was a fabulous experience for my Girl Scout troop. The free play area is filled with all kinds of things to create a temporary masterpiece!
We also attended a special Cinderella Craft Party. I had three girls with me 3 – 7 and the had a blast. Crafts were well planned and turned out very cute.
I will recommend Pinspiration to anyone looking for this type of experience.
The absolute best part: someone else cleans up!
