Planned Parenthood

I’ve been asking this office and made numerous calls to get my money refunded to me. I called in June and asked my credit to be mailed to me. The office told me it would take 90 days to get my refund. I called their office in August to check the status and the phone room told me I didn’t have any credit that they «attempted» to call me. I argued with them and was transferred to billing. Looks like one of the medical assistants attached nurse visit notes to my office visit that I had a credit from after I had called for that credit to be mailed to me. Billing stated it was the office mistake because I did not see the nurse I saw a medical assistant for a depo provera injection. After billing contacted Maryvale office back to fix THEIR mistake/​fraud the manager (I believe her name was Esther) called me to apologize on behalf of her staff. She reassured me my money would be sent to me. It’s now SEPTEMBER. I called the office and a MA stated that I should have my check by September 4^th. I called today ⁹⁄₉ and Mary stated my check was sent on ⁹⁄₄. Wtf?! I then asked for Esther but Mary didn’t know who that was she handed it to a different manager and I asked her what exact day was MY MONEY sent she told me it takes 30 – 40 business days to get it, OK but what date was my money sent?! she put me on a long hold and transferred me to billing. I’m so frustrated with this office all I want is MY MONEY. I’m a medical assistant as well working for a well known doctors office. I’ve never had this happen in my office. Let’s see when MY MONEY will get here. Hopefully before October. How ridiculous of plan parenthoods fraud and lack of pt communication and amongst each other.

This place is horrible.
Doctor is so rude and pushy.
I went in to see if I was a good candidate for the marina, I am 25 years old and married with two kids, when a doctor met with me she started by saying, and I quote «the marina was a good option if you decide not to have kids for five years, but that if you are only getting it for a year because „it was convenient“ then I will not let you get it because there are other women at there that will actually use it for the time needed. Do you understand where I am coming from?» Then she continued by explaining the side effects saying «You will spot for about 6 months so just be patient. After that’s you will get very light to no periods» so I said «i’m not very comfortable with not getting my period for five years. Could I possibly look into the ParaGard» and she snapped saying «yeah well the ParaGard is for 12 years. And I don’t think you are planning on not having kids for 12 years. Are you?» And then! Even said «I think that once you get out of your 1920s MENTALITY of not having a period being bad thing I think you’d really get to enjoy this birth control»
Wow. So disrespectful. I couldn’t believe she was talking to me as if I was a child trying to bum off. And not a grown ass women who knows her body and what might be best for her. Not to mention I was still paying.
Will not be coming here again

I’ve had to come here a few times and every experience has been awful. The doctor doesn’t care to listen or take into consideration patient input. She is pushy with a mother know’s best mentality regardless of previous verified medical history. Just because this is a low income facility does not mean you should dehumanize and treat people as if they are unintelligent. It’s disrespectful.

Horrible horrible horrible! Never come here!!! Doctor is impatient, pushy and extremely rough! They give you the prescriptions here, which makes them cost more that they would at a pharmacy. I waited 3 hours just to get in and get my vitals taken. Worst location I’ve ever been to and WORST obgyn experience.
