Primitive Combat Systems

I’m fairly new to the shooting community, so my training with the guys at Primitive Combat Systems has been incredibly beneficial (and necessary, considering my status as a newb). The instructors are quite capable and have demonstrated themselves as experts in their fields — with competition and combat experience. Throughout the courses, they maintained a high level of professionalism and range safety while still being humorous, friendly, and encouraging of our skills.
I took 2 carbine courses with them, and 1 pistol class. These were extremely valuable as they walked each of us through the basics and up into more advanced techniques/​drills. Because of these courses, my overall knowledge of weapons handling has grown and my confidence in deploying my weapons has increased. I highly recommend taking one or more classes with this company. You will be a better shooter because of it.

I’m a semi regular shooter but had felt I was plateauing in my improvement. I decided to take a formal training course and was excited to find P.C.S. was right in my area. I first took their one day pistol course and was so pleased with my experience that I signed up for the next rifle class that was just two weeks away! Through the drills Damon and Travis taught, I have been able to pin point my weak areas and practice them with their guidance.
Both of them as instructors were great. They seem extremely knowledgeable in teaching others. Overall I had a great experience, learned a ton! It was nice to see that both Damon and Travis are both passionate to pass on their skill and help others in the class improve no matter what their initial skill level is. Will definitely be back for another course in the future.
