Red Hawk At Sheely Farms

I love these apartments :) nice neighbors, I live right in front of the pool (I like to call it beach front:)) & it’s super quiet. Barley anybody there. Any problem I’ve had has been fixed the next day which is amazing! They have movies to rent (for free) in the front so we’re always having movie night.
It’s amazing:) I live in the one bedroom & it’s nothing short of luxury. It’s perfect for a family

spent 2 months searching for the right place and found it. love the floor plans and all the space even for a one bedroom! these apartments are quiet and well kept. love the design and how manicured the grounds are maintained. the staff are very friendly and helpful. all of the work orders i have put in have been completed immediately. i constantly recommend these apartments to anyone who mentions they are looking for an apartment. extremely happy with this place!

I lived at Red Hawk for nearly two years and i have some mixed reviews about living here.
Negatives:
* This place has very thin walls… you can hear your neighbors walking around above you if you are not on the top floor… you can hear EVERYTHING (lol_​
* If you live near the pool beware of late night pool parties in the summer time. I dont mind a pool party but when its midnight on a weeknight and you are trying to sleep its not so much fun. They do have a security patrol and pool hours but these are never enforced. Oftentimes people jump over the fence after hours for a late night swim.
* The office manager Anna is insanely rude. To be honest I don’t even know how she got to be in the position that she is in. I asked to have my battery replaced in my smoke detector on a 10 foot ceiling. I could not reach even with a step stool. I asked if maintenance could replace it. Anna gave me a very hard time about it… saying that there are elderly people that live here that can replace it themselves but why couldn’t I? Every encounter i have had with her… she is always rude or angry.
* Guest parking is very difficult on weekends (but this is common in most apartment complexes)
*Many reported home/​car break-​ins during the holiday season. A security gate was recently added to help with this.
* I have had my front doormat, holiday wreaths stolen off my doorstep
Positives
* Very clean property!
* Decent rent prices
* Jen in the office is fantastic (very friendly and helpful)
* Very spacious apartments
* Large balconies
*No scorpions the whole time I lived here
If you are looking for similar rent prices in a good neighborhood i would suggest looking in Goodyear/​Avondale. Its much quieter and more safe :)

This was the first apt complex I live in when I moved here from VA. I moved into this place site unseen and was pretty happy with the results. I lived on the first floor and the only problem I had at first was were earwigs /​bugs. There was alot of construction going on right near us and all that shifting of dirt made the bugs happy campers as they came out in droves. Annoying little suckers, but after they did thorough spray and fumigation in not only my apt but in their drains and other places as well, I never saw a earwig or a bug in my apt again.
The rent was cheap, the staff were great, the apt was fabulous. I never had any problems with my neighbors except that right before I moved, some new next door neighbors moved and man were they loud. I mean really, did you have to play your playstation that loud? Really? Or did your movie have to be heard down the street? It sounded like I was in the room with them as I could hear the games and movies loud and clear.
The only reason I moved was due to the fact that I lived too far away from my job. Driving 70 miles roundtrip can takes it toll, otherwise I would probably still be there but in a two bedroom.
So if you live in the west valley, check them out. You just may be pleasantly surprised.
