I have been living in the valley for over 20 years and I can confidently say that Shaw Butte Barbers are the best in the business! They are on the quiet side, which I love, but man they are great at what they do! Do yourself a favor and purchase the shave as well! You will thank me later!

I just stopped in today to get a shave and a haircut I wish I hadn’t. They are the rudest people I have ever seen in my life. Could hardly understand them with their broken English. They were very rude. There were two men and one woman in there and they just stood there and looked at me didn’t ask if I would like a haircut or anything they’re too busy talking amongst themselves. I would not recommend them to anyone they are very disrespectful and very discourteous towards people. Find someplace else you will be much more happier don’t waste your time it’s not worth it if I could write them a –5 I would

Best place in arizona for a haircut, I have been going here since I moved to arizona two years ago I am the kind of guy who sticks to a good thing, and this is a good thing indeed! great price, great service, I highly recommend.

Nice, clean, relatively modern take on an old school barber shop. They have a great waiting area with comfy-looking leather couches, the typical reading material, and TV to boot.
Jerry, an older gentleman and a good conversationalist, cut my hair. I got the impression he’s the owner but I’m not sure. The cut was mostly with clippers though the scissors did come out for a while. No complaints about the results, and I gave him only minimal guidance.
The hot shaving cream and straight razor trim was much appreciated, as was the hot towel treatment at the end. I’ll be back!

Owner is great at haircuts. He knows what he’s doing. The other haircutters are good but don’t live up to the owner.
Hot towel at the end and hot shaving cream on neck hair gives you goosebumps and is a nice cap to a once a month haircut.
Good location next to Starbucks. I suggest you check it out!
