Straight Line Landscape

Overpriced landscapers that take shortcuts and don’t stand behind their work. If you are thinking of using this company run fast in the other direction. The customer service is also a huge problem with this business.

Don’t use this company. Everything looks good on the surface, until I found out they didn’t plant the trees right. First storm and both fell and broke. Arborist said they planted them wrong and roots were twisted around tree, but they planted them anyway. Having my gardner plant bushes where the trees were, only to find out that Straight Line did a poor job installing the valves. It all has to be redone. Not worth the 5,000 I paid to have poor watering system by Straight Line. I complained, but never heard back. They are only interested in selling not customer service. Would have given no stars if there was that option.

In summary — definitely recommend them for any hard-​scape project (would have given 4.5 stars), just don’t use them for plant landscaping.
We contracted with Straight Line do the following:
–Resurface all backyard patio/​pool decking — DID A FANTASTIC JOB!
–Re-​tile pool waterline tile & patch water feature — Contracted out to others… did a great job.
–Acid wash pool — Contracted out to others. Work left a lot of streaking and wound up having it totally resurfaced. Contractor provided a fair price to redo even though it wasn’t part of the original budget (+$ 4k).
–Both front and back yard totally re-​landscaped including new irrigation. This is why rating was only two stars. Bottom line: a lot of plants and final plantings are no where near what the designed drawings showed. Original designer wasn’t even here when plantings were going on. We had the opportunity to physically pick out a few of the major plants, but all the others had to be the smallest and weakest plants. Either Straight Line didn’t care what the nursery wanted to provide or they just provided the plants with the greatest profit margin for them.
In fairness, a few of the «wrong» plants that were delivered were kept and planted at no charge… but it did throw off a lot of the original design.

We just had Straigh Line Landscape do our front and rear yard. From top to bottom, even adding block posts for an extended patio another company is installing. First let me just say that they did a FANTASTIC job. Holly was THE best to work with, she went above and beyond for us in order to get the design done and the quote done, and to get it all done right. Then there’s Travis the supervisor and Rubin the foremen. What can I say! They just bent over backwards to do everything for us in a timely fashion, and very professionally, and when we had questions, they both didn’t dance around it. They told it straight up. We had a large amount of pavers done (about 1300 sf of pavers, yes, you read that right… we have a large back yard), granite (landscape rock), 55 tons of it, plants, irrigation for the plants, boulders, lawn and a sprikler system, electrical, etc., and basically turned a blah looking yard into an oasis. I highly recommend them, and believe me, I’m a shopper. I thoroughly looked at 3 different companies, from big commercial type companies to the small guy with a small crew, and found that Holly and her company were not only fair in their pricing, but delivered everything they promised and more. Thanks again Straight Line. I know who I’ll be recommending for any type of landscpe jobs to my friends. And now I can sit outside and just enjoy the beautiful yard that has just been created just for us.
