Style Lounge On Central

I was excited that this salon carries Pelindaba Lavendar products. Only store in AZ. Unfortunately, I went at 10am and they were closed even though the door said opens at 10am. Tried calling an hour later… NOTHING! What kind of business is this? Wasn’t impressed with the run down, dirty shopping center. I’ll order directly from Pelindaba Lavendar. I’m sure the stock is old!

I have to say what an adorable salon and boutique! They sell an array of gorgeous retro style clothes and super friendly staff with great skill for their craft! I would recommend everyone here! The pedicure thrones were amazing! It made me feel like a true princess!!!

A previous Unilocal-​er said this shop is «the most fashionable salon in Phoenix» well that is pretty sad, considering it looked like any other nice salon I’ve seen– it wasn’t particularly remarkable– not terrible, not world-​class either. Ignore what everybody says: Phoenix is a VERY small town, if this is the coolest salon here.
It is a small shop. I was informed that all of the stylists have 10 yrs or more experience, which is a big plus.
BUT: (Reason For Only a Two-​Star Review):
I’ll be delighted to leave a proper star review if they shall merit it. I’d made an appt mid-​week for a weekend cut, yet when I showed up for it the stylist was a No-​Call No-​Show, nor had anyone bothered to call me and let me know that my appointment is canceled! NO COMMUNICATION: Review your appointments and ensure you have staff, contact customers if there is an issue
I waited a half hour in the shop in hopes my stylist would show up. There was one other stylist in the tiny shop cutting hair while I waited in vain. Upon finally giving up on waiting for the mystery stylist that never arrived, the one stylist there just said she’s sorry but no one asked me to re-​schedule? Is this the way they want customers to be treated in this manner? So nonchalant.
If they will take initiative to contact their customer base on their stylists not showing up, so their customers will not schedule their entire weekend around a salon visit to have it suddenly canceled, perhaps things would go a bit smoother. If there is a Next Time and someone is available to cut hair, and I am given a proper hair cut, I will leave a better review.
The schedule on the door read «OPEN Sun. 12:00 a.m. til 5:00 pm» which I thought was interesting, what a great idea to be open late on Sat. nights! Wow I bet their business would take off like a rocket. It took a good moment for me to realize this was a misspelling on their part. Oops!!! Lounge, take a minute to go over the «small things» those can make, or break! Your business. Another telling clue is the very lack of reviews.

I was recommended by a friend and so happy I did! I just got the best style ever from Izandro, he took his time and worked magic on my hair ! Can’t wait to go back

This salon has to be the cleanest and most fashionable salon is Phoenix! Every one is very friendly and talented. They do everything from hair cuts to permanent makeup. Tanner Victory is a total pro. With permanent makeup and tooth gems. I’ve seem a lot of her work and it’s amazing. They specialize in Pin Up fashion from hair to toes. I recommend Style Lounge on Central to all the women in Phoenix :)

I recently had a great experience here getting my hair colored. Ashley was very meticulous about not getting color on my skin & making sure it was even. I love the color it came out great & she was awesome! Super friendly staff, great merchandise/​really unique stuff & I loved the retro style of the salon! I will definitely be returning for other services!

This is the first time I have ever felt compelled to write a Unilocal review. I had a manicure here recently and it was fantastic. I don’t frequently get manicures because I wash my hands frequently at work so they don’t last long but I had a special event so I thought I’d give it a try. The salon is adorable. Everyone who worked there was friendly. It was a very fun place to be. I think this is the most meticulous manicure that I have ever had, and looks beautiful. It’s been on for several days and so far has stood up to the pool, little kids and lots of hand washing. This experience is making me think I should get manicures more often, and of course I’d only come back here to get it done.
