Just tried this for parking at airport and loved it. Staff is efficient and very helpful. Francisco was a great driver — very courteous. Will definitely be using in future.

We had the nightmare every traveler hates last night at the hands of Sundance Travel Service. We arrived at the Sundance parking lot near Sky Harbor Airport at 11:15PM. The bar code on the email confirmation received when we paid online had worked perfectly to get us into the lot but refused to allow us to leave. The time period paid for online was exactly the same as the actual entry and exit times, but no matter the exit scanner refused to open the exit gate.
Fortunately a night attendant was at the lot. He checked their system and said there was no record of our reservation, even though I showed him the confirming email.
By this time it was after midnight and after a very long day of traveling we decided to pay the $ 45 parking fee again so we could leave. I will contest this transaction and will receive a refund on my double payment, but I learned a lesson… even though Sundance is cheaper parking at PHX you run the risk of their reservation system not working correctly. If you plan to arrive back in Phoenix after normal working hours it might be well worth the extra money to look for more reliable parking.

If you’re looking for a cheap parking lot, this is your place! If you reserve before 24 hours it’s only $ 5 a day. If you book that day it’s $ 6. Free shuttle, but no covered parking. No real complaints.

Price is great and I had no issue with security of car. Instruction card we received instructed us to exit door #5 and go to designated spot. Designated spot is actually between doors & and 9 causing unnecessary confusion. Additionally, don’t look for a vehicle that says «Sundance Parking» because they don’t, and we were not informed of this. As a result, we had a 30 minute wait in 106-​degrees at 9 pm which is not fun. Driver was very friendly and helpful

Like what everyone else said. You get what you pay for. Lady working is not very helpful or friendly. Place is a little sketchy but it is 5 dollars a night. The parking lot may be packed so arrive there a couple minuets early in case you need to go to about parking company or reserve a spot online. Bus drivers are very quick and friendly. They are contractors with another company. Is you lose your parking ticket you have to pay a 300 dollars fine so leave your ticket in your car

I called them to help me with my Travel needs and I let her know that i was A Platinum American Express Member and it went down hill from there… RUDE … She Didn’t want to help me at all. SO i didn’t let her !

The lady in the office was not helpful at all and didn’t even seem to understand anything including the English language. I made a reservation ahead of time online through OneStopParking for parking at Sundance. The woman said they had no record of my reservation — after she asked for my name several times which is an easy name, nonetheless, she could have just asked me for my ID instead of asking for my name almost 5 times. Then she asked me to email her my reservation which I did and she kept asking me what my rate was. I had a receipt that said I would owe $ 32 total for my parking fee. Plus side is the shuttle drivers know what they are doing and are very convenient. When I checked out, they said I owed $ 42 which is $ 10 more than the prepaid parking I had arranged = and no, I did not use any additional time = my flights were on time and I actually had my car parked there less time than I had booked for myself at the $ 32 rate. Very disappointed with this company, I hope they either get their act together or go out of business. POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS when I asked them to refund my $ 10. Thanks a ton stupid parking Nazis.

The price cannot be beaten… PERIOD! That being said, the lot is small, not covered and sketchy. My car was parked for 5 nights without incident. But if you’ve invested a lot of money in a car and you want covered parking during our summer monsoon, look elsewhere. I would have given this outfit more stars, however, the shuttle service needs some adjusting. First off they have Green and White Sky Harbor Parking shuttles which are shared with other lots. Please put a sign on the shuttle as to which lot you’re going to. You’ve plastered signs all over the darn thing, begging for tips (kind of tacky) so I know someone in the office knows how to make a sign. The first van arrived, I said I was going to Sundance, he kindly told me the next van would take me to sundance. Next van comes, I get on… we’re not going to Sundance. VERY VERY frustrating to make the customer constantly ask where the van is going. The van should have a sign… PERIOD!

The price was certainly right — I don’t think you can find a better deal for long-​term parking near Sky Harbor. That said, you get what you pay for. The lot is not well-​lit, and I had some concerns for the safety of my car (which, as it turns out, were unfounded). Just the same, if you have an expensive automobile, you might want to look elsewhere.
High marks to the employees of Sundance, all of whom were very personable and worked hard to provide good service. Be sure and tip your driver!

UPDATE: So on the return trip, we just happened to be walking out when the shuttle was pulling up, so no wait. Just make sure you tell the driver you are going to Sundance (Sundance contracts «Sky Harbor Parking» shuttles, and only some of the drivers are designated to go to Sundance). Driver was helpful and polite. Tip them if they’re good!
Back at the lot in 5ish minutes, only to discover I had left my interior lights on the past 5 days… Again, the lady working inside was of no help, and told me that all she could do was «call a shuttle driver and see if they have a box».
Not sure what that means.
Luckily another family got dropped off as we were walking back to the car, and they were able to jump our car no problem.
Checkout was easy, I pulled up to the window and handed her my receipt I printed at home, and the the ticket the machine gave me when I pulled in last week. If you follow the directions (not really laid out that well) it’s a simple process.

So after a few visits, a quick update.
So the lot is pretty small, so it can sell out, expecially on those must fly home weekends like Thanksgiving. Make sure to call the lot before, or make a reservation like a week in advance to secure your place.
Off peak days and off hour pick up may takes time at least 20 minutes, so plan accordingly. Not bad for the free spirit, not so great for your busy bodies.
The ideal place for the college student saving money for fun, but not so much for the peeps expecting immediate pick up and tvs in on the ride back.

Travel often & need a place where to drop off your car?
This place goes for about $ 5 a day and is one of Phoenix’s secret car drop off locations! Yeah, leaving your car here looks a bit shady, but its easy as 1−2−3. I dropped off my car here and caught the frequent shuttle to the airport – it only takes a couple of minutes to the airport! Tip the shuttle drive a few bucks and wala, you are at the airport. Its waaaaay cheaper than taking a shuttle from your house, taking a cab, and MUCH cheaper than leaving your car at the airport. Easy, yo! I’m a fan!
PS Their shuttle takes you straight to your drop off location. The airport shuttle will stop at many more places, making it longer to get to your destination. Thus, this travel agency wins in my book.

The introduction of the web certainly has diminished the personal touch and quality of service in the travel industry. The web has also eliminated a go to person when something goes sideways.
We have continued to use Charlotte and Bonnie at Sundance Travel for both personal and business for over 20 years. With the chaos that occurs in travel… missing a flight, being re-​routed, hotel issues, etc, Sundance is available 24 hours a day to handle any and all last minute changes.
