Sunsational Swim School

Thurston was amazing! He took a super fearful daughter of mine and gave her the confidence to not only go under water but swim, and laugh and enjoy it! What a major breakthrough. And my son really adored his hands-​on approach. He learned to tread water like a champ, to breathe while stroking, and learned the breast stroke! Thurston is an asset to the swim school and to his community.

I was very satisfied with our choice. After trying the different schools around, we wanted something that would work a little faster. We loved the idea of having them come to our house and work with the kids one on one. Keri was our swim instructor and she was great and very patient with our kids. They loved swimming with her and at the end of the twelve lessons they were very comfortable getting around the pool and diving for different objects. I would recommend this option, it seems a little expensive, but if you take into account that you will be going for months and months to a swim school, it evens out.

I booked back to back private lessons for two of my children (ages 4 and 11) after looking at several swim schools in the valley. I booked with Sunsational because I thought the kids would benefit more from private lessons and the price was comparable.
Erin was the coach assigned to us. She was prompt and very flexible when setting up our schedule.
Erin was also a great coach. She was very calm, patient and thorough in her lessons. My kids loved having her as their coach. She adapted to each of their personalities and kept them focused which isn’t easy to do with my son. After 13 lessons, each of the kids were swimming from one end of the pool to the other. I know we wouldn’t have had results like that at a school where they were in a group.
Overall the program was a great investment and I would recommend them to anyone, especially coach Erin!

We contacted Sunsational Swim School for private lessons. We were promptly contacted by the swim instructor, Laura Christy. We set up lessons for that same week. Laura was our son’s first (at home) swim instructor. We really liked Laura and how well she worked with our son! Most importantly, she taught him all the rules (do’s and don’ts) of the pool. He is now much more comfortable swimming in our pool, he is aware of all the pool rules, he can swim to the bottom to pick up toys, and is overall much more knowledgeable about swimming! We had a great experience and were thrilled to have Laura Christy as his coach! We strongly recommend Laura to anyone in the Scottsdale, AZ area! Thank You!!!
