Sunset Landscaping implemented a design for my backyard prepared by a landscape architect that I hired, Mary Estes, of Indigenous Minds. I couldn’t be more pleased with their craftsmanship, professionalism, customer service, etc. I have nothing but positive things to say about the experience and the outcome. The scope of work included ripping out the entire yard– plants, grass, pavers, irrigation system, etc. and replacing it all with the new design. The new plan included new hard-​scaping (brick pavers, 2 stone landings with steps, and various other masonry elements around the yard,) a fountain, custom trellises, new trees, shrubs, grass, etc. The quality of the plants and materials they used were excellent, as were their employees who installed them. They provided a manual on how to control all of the new elements i.e. fountain, pump, irrigation, etc. and since they’ve completed work, anytime I’ve had any minor questions about how to operate something they’ve been immediately helpful. They met their deadline, and they never increased the budget or asked for additional money above their initial bid for the project. I have referred Sunset to anyone and everyone looking for a top-​notch landscaping contractor, and will continue to do so. I look forward to using them again for my front yard in a couple of years.

The Sunset Landscaping and Designs team are true professionals! They transformed my yard into a gorgeous, yet comfortable/​liveable outdoor extension of my home. Dennis Canedy and his team are easy to work with. They set clear expectations along the way and always delivered on their commitments. I highly recommend their work; they won’t let you down.

These folks left a flyer on my door in the Chandler area promising a free estimate, and a $ 25.00 off coupon for one time clean-​up. I called the number, explained my needs, and the gentleman said someone would stop by later that day. Two days later, after no one showed up or called — I called them again to inquire what happened. The same gentleman told me that his ‘guy’ had stopped by, and said they couldn’t take on a job of that nature right now, and were only taking new monthly customers. I explained that I did need monthly service and I would be evaluating their quality/​price as my potential on-​going monthly maintenance.
I also pointed out that I had been home all day, and no one had ever shown up. He then stammered around a bit, hastily told me they couldn’t handle it, and hung up on me.
Sunset Landscaping and Designs: I suggest you stop advertising until you address your level of unprofessional ism and lack of customer service.
