SunShader By Design

If there were more stars, that is what we would give Jim Mello and his Sunshader crew. Jim and his folks are total professionals… knowledgeable, technically skilled, detail oriented, on time and flexible if needed. We have a South facing back patio and deck. The installed awning is 20 feet wide and extends out to the edge of the pool. It provides the patio with great shade and cover from the hot Arizona summer sun… and shades the covered patio when the winter sun is low in the South sky. The product looks super! We had multiple fabric options to choose from to match the house. The awning is very well built, with a sturdy cover to protect the fabric when retracted/​stored. Very easy to use, with a remote control to extend, stop where you want and retract with a simple button push (NO CRANKING!). It even has a sensor to automatically retract the awning if the wind picks up… to protect the awning from damage. With the «structure» of our back patio this was a very challenging install, but Jim’s crew made it look easy. Jim was a great «salesman», helped us through the whole process and was very patient.
