Looking at the previous reviews on this site, 4 of 5 are 1 star. 80% crappy. Well, here’s another that makes their average even worse.
I took an item here to ship to a relative, and it needed to be packed in a carton, of course. The short, brusque woman at the counter measured my item, and went in search of a carton to fit. The item is about 30“x 20″ x 6″, about 25#, not a really large item I didn’t think. She returns and tells me she doesn’t have a box. She doesn’t offer to obtain or make a box, or tell me when she might be able to get a box, no offer of any help whatsoever. I ask if this isn’t a «packing and shipping» store? This is when she really gets snotty about it. So I have to concur with 80% of the other Unilocalers here when I rate their service 1 star. With no service (other than with an attitude) they don’t even deserve that. Go elsewhere.

Horrible costumer service. The girl had the audacity of talking back at me because i wanted a different box instead of the first one. I didnt even get greeted or anything. She was just there with a maddog face and when i approached her she was so unprofessional. Who greets a costumer with a «what do you want». Horrible.

Do NOT go here unless you want to be ripped off. Postage/​shipping is 2−3x higher than normal UPS/​USPS. $ 7.50 to ship a light package that cost $ 1.95 at the post office.

I dropped off a package on Tuesday to be shipped to Ohio by Thursday, though I do think the prices a bit high, they made up for everywhere else! The customer service was excellent and I just got a picture of my delicate package and it arrived in pristine condition. I didn’t even have to say that it was delicate, I just handed it over and they packed it for me. Please check out the picture I enclosed to see what I shipped and how it arrived. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER. Just had the manager Wyatt yell at me because I asked for a refund in the difference between packages that were supposed to go out on Monday and were not shipped as promised. He had promised me over the phone to let me ship the packages 3 day for the same price since it was their fault. Then when he saw how much it would be he changed his mind and then acted like I was crazy for expecting what he had promised. Now I wasted half my day dealing with this.

I think what irks me most about a business is when an owner a) hires a mgr who isn’t capable of making decisions outside of ‘the way we do things’ in order to keep a customer happy or b) doesn’t empower the mgr to make these types of decisions.
Read on for the head-​shaking case of semantics that ensued. I recently moved to the area coming from a major downtown city. At the UPS by my home, if you hadn’t printed a label, there was a computer in the corner of the store where you could pull up your email account and bang, send the label to the printer. You’d pay the guy a dime for the page, he’d affix the label, seal up the box and off you’d go. At this independently owned small business UPS, the owner has, according to her employee and mgr, learned that other UPS stores charge for computer use — and I don’t mean when surfing the internet, I mean IN ORDER TO PRINT THE PAGE USED TO SHIP THROUGH HER COMPANY, UPS! Mind you, if you EMAIL them the link to the page and have them pull it up and print it; you need only pay the $.07 for the page. Only, apparently, Amazon makes you login even when you have the link. So I said, ok… so can I login to print the page? The response? «If you do, we have to charge you $ 2.99 for using the computer.» TWO FREAKING NINETY NINE to login and print a label used to ship a package with your company? I explained that I had just moved and didn’t have a printer running yet. I explained that it would take me approximately 10 seconds to pull up and print the label. I explained how furious they were making a potential new customer who works from home and ships A LOT. But all to no avail. I left, with package, fuming and vowing never to return. I wonder, Small Business Owner, was it worth the $ 2.99?
