I love The Vig — great food and atmosphere but the Uptown location is my favorite. I go at least once a week for lunch and have tried most of the items on their menu. You can’t go wrong. But it’s the staff that makes this location so great. Everyone is super friendly and attentive to your needs. If you’re lucky enough to go when Madison is working the bar, you’re in for a treat. She is hilarious and just has a great attitude and always makes sure your drinks are full and the food is just how you order it. I’ll be back for sure.

Chill place and great vibe. Like I walked into a cosmopolitan bar in Brooklyn or Los Angeles. Had the Chicken sandwich with Sweet Potato fries like I had at the 4th Avenue location. Delicious and consistent. Both locations have charm, but this one was more hip. Would go again in a heartbeat…

Stopped in for lunch before a meeting the BF and I had up the street. Pretty dead at 1pm on a weekday, but that’s ok because we could actually find parking. Great décor, great patio… or kind of a patio because it is technically inside. Our server was really nice and helpful. Made great suggestions and was very prompt. We don’t get up this way all that often, but when we do we’ll definitely stop in again.

I’ve now joined the many previous reviewers who are fans of The Vig. I’m not from Phoenix, but I travel there a lot for work so I try to find new places to try whenever I’m there. I took my sales team there for dinner and we reserved one of the back patio couch areas for dinner and drinks. What a great place! I loved that back patio area and the bocci and corn hole options. We were a larger group so we had 2 servers and both were amazing. Extremely attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu. The food is upscale bar food, so there was something for everyone. Even my colleague with some dietary restrictions. We ordered several apps for the table including guacamole, edamame, and their charcuterie board. All was quite delicious. Everyone ordered their own thing but I had the short rib tacos and they were amazing! The meat was extremely tender and had a fantastic tasting asian sweet glaze. The drinks were tasty, strong, and reasonably priced. All in all, this was a fantastic evening out. Although I say I like to try new places whenever I travel to Phoenix, I will most likely return to The Vig. Great place!

Came after 10 pm and was greeted very well by the hostess. Had a few cocktails, the daily mule was absolutely perfect! We had for munchies the sliders appetizer with sweet potato fries. Can you say yummy! The sliders were perfect on soft pretzel buns with tasty beef and oh my gosh the toppings were to kill for! This is such a great late night hang out spot

I had my grad party at The Vig Uptown last week. These people are seamless. I can only imagine how difficult/annoying it can be to have larger parties who come at different times, leave at different times, and pay separately but this place has their ish together and I really enjoyed my time with friends. Beyond all this, the food was good and the drinks were GREAT! For all my friends that had not been there before, they were impressed by all aspects of The Vig. Thank y’all for making my day stress free and fun.

Had Sunday brunch here with a friend. Cute atmosphere, dj was kinda wack but I could live with it. Food was bomb, service was good. Wish there was more parking but what can you do?!

First and last time coming here. This fly was in my cup of water that I asked for. When I told the waitress, instead of her being apologetic she just asked me do I want another one. Do I want another fly water? No thank you

Went on a Saturday for lunch. Arrived and parked on site– thank you Vig! Really neat, old building. Beautiful stained glass window by the front door. Employees were all very polite and attentive. Well done Vig! Food time — mac and cheese, get it. Wonderful! I had the Hangover Helper — it was really really good. Large portion too. Sauce was the right kind of spicy. Only beef? Seating — we wanted to sit«out back» and could see several available tables. We wound up waiting about 20 minutes to be seated when they had outdoor seating capacity.

I love the vibe at the Vig. I enjoy sitting in the back area — they have a band on Tuesdays at 7pm and a Dj on weekends. I love coming here for their wings!!! So good, I just get it traditional extra crispy. And the bleu cheese has actual chunks of bleu cheese as well. I recommend coming in happy hour, they’re only $ 6! I’ve tried other things but I feel disappointed every time, so I just stick to the wings! Come on Tuesday for $ 22 for a bottle of wine and an appetizer.

Stopped off at The Vig for a post-work week get together with some colleagues. I found the place to be pretty good, albeit a tad expensive. Upon arriving at The Vig, I quickly realized that there was no parking available that wasn’t valet. The sign next to the valet area said«complimentary», so I just pulled up and gave the keys of my car to the guy working there. As I walked inside, I noticed a very cool exposed steel and huge window section near the back, which almost gave the impression of it actually being outside. Overall, I found the atmosphere and vibe of the place to be very cool and industrial-chic. For drinks and food, we ordered sliders, chips and salsa, wings, and cocktails. I had a «Summer Survivor» and it was pretty awesome. It definitely had a nice little spicy«kick» to it. Food and drinks were brought out regularly, so I was happy with the service that night. My only concern with The Vig was the«complimentary» valet. I felt bad because I didn’t bring any cash with me to tip the valet guy and he looked at me like he was clearly expecting a tip. Wish I had known that self-parking wasn’t an option before I arrived. Perhaps non-mandatory valet parking would be an helpful. Even if the parking was across the street, folks would rather do that than stiff a valet guy at the end of a good evening. Other than that, I found The Vig to be a nice and relaxing place to chill with others. Good times at The Vig. 4-stars overall!

It was OK. Nothing about the atmosphere struck me as WOW what a cool place. A bit run of the mill sports type bar. Menu was good with lots of choices even a few gluten free. Chips and salsa were lacking chips didnt even taste like corn and salsa amount was too little for the amount of chips. I have had better fish tacos for sure. 2 larger ones would have trumped the 4 small 1 piece fish tacos with very little sauce flavor. And it was sooo busy. The waiter was rushing around and someone else brought both our drinks and food. I will give it one more try before I boot it as a place to spend my money and time.

The short ribs tacos left a horrible taste in my mouth. It was cold, overrated, and expensive. The only thing good was the black beans that was served on the side. Pad Thai was cold and no flavor until we asked for Sriracha. I would have gone to a Thai restaurant instead. I think it is was microwaved. It is our second time here and it is becoming overrated for the horrible experience.

The Vig has a great décor but the food is very mediocre. It’s a great place for drinks and to met up with friends to shot the breeze but that’s it… I ordered the artichoke and kale dip which looked hot but when I placed my pita chip in it… Cold as ice. It wasn’t smooth and velvety like a really good dip should be. Wouldn’t order that again… My hubby ordered the pad Thai noodle bowl it was okay but very salty with very little sauce. One of my girl friend’s ordered the Vig wings appetizer. It was good at first but then it lost flavor after the third wing. Let me not get started on the street tacos… they were yucky!!! Let’s just say out of four tacos three and a half tacos were felt on the plate!!! Look this place is great to be seen but to really enjoy delicious food… It’s not happening!!!

Love it. I love this place, I have been here twice in the past two months on a whim without a reservation, and the place is always able to accommodate(might just be luck). Both times I have been here I could only eat the the Vigazz Burger and the cauliflower and both times it has been fabulous. Additionally they always separate it out for me based on my diet(super accommodating) and I immensely appreciated it the first time and it is why I will continuously return. The waiters and waitresses have personality and are incredibly nice. The place is clean, and the parking«issue» has been ameliorated by having Valet services. Just be prepared and bring some cash for that. :)

Alright, this is going to be a short review because we popped in on a Friday night just for Moscow Mules. No food was consumed since we already had dinner but the menu was read with envy. Such a trendy place! It was super busy, the bar was gorgeous, and the place itself was lovely. The patio looked really nice from what I could see. The stylish patrons made me feel under-dressed but whatever. Give me my draaank! Music was blasting for this energetic crowd and there were lots of couples on dates. Kazi didn’t enjoy her Bloody Mary and the waitress let her trade it for a Moscow Mule with no grief. $ 4 Tito’s vodka all summer long, kiddos. Yes! Our table already had a trivia game in place so that was fun. We sucked at it but it was still fun. Thanks for the bev, Tomcat!

Came here yesterday for brunch with my friend and was not impressed. We both did the bottomless mimosas and had to wait way too long for refills. Not fun considering you don’t get the fair share of «bottomless.» We were hungry so I ordered the Monte Cristo and she ordered a burger. It took literally an hour for it to come out. We kept asking where our food was and our waitress had to keep asking. And when it finally did, I had a hair on my plate! Disgusting. I’m only giving two stars because our waitress was nice and felt bad about the hour long wait on our food that she didn’t charge us for it. I’ll stick to Hulas for brunch and mimosas from now on.
