This place is adorable! LOVE the dog theme and you can bring your best friend along with patio seating I had the tomato soup and grilled cheese sandwich– delicious! Since when can I get my fav out at a restaurant?! BF had a chicken and guac sandwich– tasty too! We can’t drink beer so unfortunately couldn’t try that. Will be back for sure !

We’re beer snobs but I’m sampling away and the beers. Nice staff and clean teaching the bartender about California beer!!! We did try most of them. I’d have to say the ipa if I was… The madriarn wasn’t how I expect it, it was more of a tangy sour beer to me. I could taste the bitterness in it, However I enjoyed your location and staff!

I have visited Uncle Bear’s three times now and each time, the service and food have been consistently delightful. I feel that the staff genuinely want to be there and want to provide the best possible service so that each guest enjoys his or her visit. I’ve had burgers on each of my visits and have substituted veggie patties each time; the veggie patties are nicely seasoned and have good texture. I particularly like the sweet potato fries: crisp on the outside, steaming hot on the inside. My husband is a self-proclaimed beer snob and said that tonight’s stout was one of Uncle Bear’s best beers.(Said stout is a seasonal selection, though.) Uncle Bear’s loves their canine companions and guests can see oodles of framed photos of lovable pooches along the entry and bathroom hallways. I’m not certain if Uncle Bear’s allows dogs inside, but I have seen a dog or two accompany his or her human on the patio. :)

This place was great. We don’t get to go out to dinner often because of a young child so when we do we have high expectations. This place totally hit the mark. The staff was so attentive, and I feel this is a rarity that the dining experience is lacking these days. The food was great and the beer was good. Fun ambiance but again the staff we had was so good. I would recommend this place to anyone and it is family friendly. The beer cheese soup was sooo good!!!

Their website flags as having malware and has for 3 months. If they fix that and I will come back, as I work 200 yards away, but looking at the menu for takeout is not worth killing our corporate network.

Good for with a decent offering for Happy Hour. The boneless wings are tasty and the burgers are large enough to share.

Boyfriend and I came here. We ordered pints of the breweries beer on HH and they were decent! We both ordered wings and my boyfriend absolutely loved them. But me… Not so much. I like mine super saucy and these lacked sauce. Another problem I ran into is I got half garlic Parmesan as recommendation from our server. Bad decision. I’m sure they would have been good to a person that isn’t obsessed with sauciness. I am giving 4 stars since my boyfriend loved their wings though. He likes them not too saucy and crispy, and they came out just like that. If you’re into sauciness, maybe tell your server to not skimp on the sauce? Lol I’m sure it is not a problem to fix. Also, another cool thing about this place: they are dog friendly from what I remember! Bring your well behaved pup to the patio!

Love Uncle Bears! The staff are all very nice & friendly! The fact that you can bring your dogs onto the patio outside, is such a great idea! The pretzel & cheese– you HAVE to get to start with! It’s delicious! I’ve tried a couple different meals… Turkey Avocado(my fav), chicken tenders(pretty good!!), teriyaki chicken sandwich was good, nothing crazy special, the cheeseburger was a pretty big in size! There French fries are extremely tasty! I’ve had the wheat beer they brew & it’s pretty good. Favorite servers: Alexis & Courtney!

The place was nice but the service was terrible. For everything we wanted we had to keep flagging the waitress over for it. Her name was Courtney, so just make sure the next time you come in you ask for two drinks in advance cause your only going to see her once your whole time there. Also it was obvious that the place was laid back with service, from our table you could see into the kitchen, I literally saw the guy cooks playing with each other. The waitresses in their service room were grouped in three leaning back as if there wasn’t anything to do out on the floor. The only nice thing about it was the hostess who brought us to the table, although it seemed like nobody knew we were even there, as if we were stumbled upon. Definitely will not recommend this place, and I love recommending places in Arizona. Ugh. I should of just went to Pita Jungle.

This was my first time eating at Uncle Bears & I’m not really sure if I would eat there again. It seemed like a really good spot to watch a football game though. My fiancé & I shared the queso cup, I liked the chips, but the queso was bland. I would not recommend it. I ordered a hamburger, The Old Fashioned on a wheat bun. The hamburger tasted like mustard, but there didn’t seem to be a lot of mustard on the hamburger. The meat seemed to lack seasoning. Maybe I just picked the wrong burger. The fries were really good! The service I give a 4⁄5. The drinks were huge which I appreciate. Our server was friendly & checked on us frequently. Also I liked that our meals didn’t come 2 seconds after we got the queso. Over all I wasn’t thrilled with my food, but I would consider going again.

Out of mimosas and golden ale. Order took a very long time. Disappointed. Food was good though.

Food was good, drinks were okay. Ambience and TV availability was satisfactory. However, sitting at the bar with a family with two young teens put a damper on the evening. I felt like I had to watch my language and the subject of my conversations. If I had wanted to watch a game at Chuck E. Cheese, I would have made other arrangements. How inappropriate! The kids finally left with their dad, but the mom continued to pound down her beers with her now off-duty bartender friend, whose dirty work clothes are sitting on the bar. So incredibly gauche. Because the bartender has so little respect for her work place, I am choosing not to contact the manager. How disappointing!

This is a great place to hang out with a group, lots of space. I had fish tacos but they were nothing special. Happy hour or drinks while watching your game of choice is likely a better option.

We visit Uncle Bears at least twice a month. The draft beers are a great deal for happy hour. The food is decent bar food. We like to share the fajitas. The beans taste like they are from a can, and most likely are, but the rest of the meal is good. Kids meals are a good value. Also like the karaōke entertainment. We don’t have a dog, but if we did we’d definitely bring it here on the patio. Very dog friendly. A pretty decent place to hang out for a couple of hours with the family.

Great wings and awesome salads. My dog Archer loves the patio, very dog friendly. They brew their own beer and their Ocean Beach West Coast IPA is very good. Pub Pretzels are also very good. Casual, pub-sports bar atmosphere. A lot of big screen TVs to watch the game. I will come back for football season for sure.

Uncle Bear’s was great for a quick afternoon lunch. I was a fan of their dog-themed restaurant(dog pictures everywhere on their walls), and their efficient service. The food comes in pretty decent portions, we ordered two entrees which had enough food to serve all 4 of us in our party(although we were not too hungry). I ordered the pulled pork sandwich with sweet potato fries, and really enjoyed the sandwich. Pulled pork is my favorite, and they have a good combo of pulled pork, BBQ sauce, cole slaw, and fried onions on theirs. The fries were decent and on the greasier side. I also had a bite of the prime rib sliders, which were pretty yummy! It wasn’t my favorite lunch, but it was good for a sandwich and a quick eat in the middle of the day.

A fantastic brewery in this part of town with great food. I have been here a bunch of times and here is the mini rundown. The herds burger is awesome. I usually add a egg to it. The other sandwiches are all good but the herds stands out for me. The prime rib sliders are a best seller and are fantastic. TheGet a side of creamed and raw horseradish. I love the sweet potato fries as a side. Fish tacos are also a good idea. The beer is great. They have seasonal beers on tap which are always fun. The regular beers are good. IPA and double IPA go down nice.

Oh what can I say about Uncle Bears? Beer is great and they let you have dogs on the patio!!! Any restaurant that allows dogs on their patio is thumbs up with me. My favorite are all of the pictures of dogs throughout the restaurant. Some of the dogs are so cute it’s hard to describe it. Sometimes it seems like the french fries are cooked in oil that is slightly under temperature so they are greasy and soggy. They have great happy hour specials and other than soggy french fries foods pretty good. Only been there a few times so far and every time the servers have been absolutely just the biggest dolls on the planet. Fun place to go to have local craft beer, hang out with your pups and maybe even catch a game!

They Brew Beer. Now that I have your attention, let me just say that besides the whole brewing beer thing, this place is pretty cool. I came on a night where the New Phoenix Times was hosting an event for the tapping of a new beer, so the place was buzzing. The also had live music to boot. Lots of people. The Tukee Town Brown(the newly tapped beer that night) was ok… but not something I would frequently drink. Their Ocean Beach IPA was awesome though. Full of hoppiness and flavor. I would come back even if it were only to get some more of that beer. I ordered a chicken sandwich with fries for dinner. The food is decent. Pretty standard pub grub. Enjoyable and satisfying enough to help slow down the alcohol absorption. Overall, I had a fun time. And it’s another AZ craft brewery checked off my list!
