I have lived here for 2+ years. The management recently changed and they are making some of the changes they promised. Maintenance response time is quicker but the woman who is managing the office now does not really seem to understand customer service. The old management company was kind. This woman is similar to other apartments managers I’ve heard of. Rather then understanding that renters are customer deserving good service and treatment she speaks down to customers and acts as if she is doing them a favor. In addition, they have not clearly laid how and and when rents are going up. Another woman in the office stated to me that they will be raising rents as improvements are made. She stated that rents would be going up to be comparable to apartments in the area. In doing comparison shopping the rents going up here will not be worth it to future renters. Here are two reasons: 1. The apartments are mostly carpet with linoleum in the bathroom and kitchen. Supposedly the old managers left no maintenance records with this new management team(this was told to me by the head manager in the office). What this means to me is that carpet re-dos will most likely be pushed off. I know of several tenants who have been here 5+ years with no carpet change. So I ask when will carpets be updated? And when you do will you charge those people moving out? 2. Rents will be going up but it has not been laid out or a time table given. Similar complexes in the are have tennis courts, pools that have worked all summer(oh Im sorry to not have mentioned that the pool was green all summer, but you could swim in smaller pools in the complex) in addition to movie theaters, sand courts and children’s play grounds. The rents advertised are already closer to these other complexes without substantial improvements, these rents are NOT worth it. We will not be living here once our lease is up. The rent is no longer worth it. We found a complex with the same amenities, for $ 35 less/month, and less dog rent. A word to Stonebridge if you read this, treat your good long standing customers with respect. Understand that this is where people live and make homes and that needs to be respected. My story and the lack of communication on the end of your management is losing you customers, we are just waiting for our leases to run out.
