Water and Ice Ahwatukee

Can’t beat the prices. I have visited water vending stations at grocery stores and after seeing their prices went up I checked out Water and Ice Ahwatukee. Prices are very reasonable and seem to be consistent. People are helpful and very pleasant to deal with.
I hope prices remain the same throughout 2016. Shave ice is generous and yummy.

I buy 40 gallons of water every week to 10 days. Have gone here for nearly two years. Last time though was the last time. Am standing in line to pay for my 40 gallons and the lady in front of me buying 2.5 gallons pulls out her punch card. When it’s my turn I ask clerk about punch cards. He tells me that they have them. Feeling annoyed I asked why he hadn’t ever offered me one considering the amount of water and I buy? Clerk says, «thought you must have had one as much as you come in here». «Really,» I asked. «Didn’t you think that if I haven’t ever used it that maybe I don’t have one?» «Yeah, I’d be pretty mad if I were you,» the clerk says and hands me a punch card. At this point, he should have punched out a bunch of holes but he didn’t. Furthermore, I’ve purchased water from every clerk and the owner in there and no one offers the card? Yeah, I know it sounds petty but with as much competition as there is out there, I’m going someone where customer appreciation and service is a higher priority.

Can’t say enough about this place! Been coming here for several years now. The staff is always friendly and you can’t say no to Thrifty ice cream! Water is amazing and the place is always clean!

Folks are always great and a neighborhood feel. Always clean and they are helpful when we have questions or need something.

Love this location! The staff is always very courteous, friendly, and they make it a fun experience. They have the normal water and ice stuff, but also have a great selection of ice cream, snow cones, and other goodies. Definitely a place that I recommend!

Fantastic service, and great staff. The owner is a stand-​up guy — what else can I say? We go there for snow cones and ice cream, and always stay to chat with the owner.
