These people have many shops around the valley, and I go to the one on Thomas and 52^nd st. Convenient and they are great with the option to make an appointment. They respect the fact that you made an appointment, they are thorough and NO PRESSURE, once they evaluate your vehicle you can budget for future repair needs. They are trustworthy of repairs that need to be made. They want your business on a continuous basis, so they don’t seem to over charge for any repair. check them out, I think you will be happy with their service.

My Miata mechanic retired. so I went shopping for a new one. Happened upon Wilhelm Auto and went over to talk to them. Clean spaces, humming activity, and the front office, thanks Chris, who took the time to explain everything that could be wrong, based on my comments. I left the car, got a call several hours later (this is a good thing,
they told me up front it could be a while) and was given the laundry list. My husband is a retired mechanic and knew what should be needed. They nailed it! Gave me the price and it was in the ballpark for what I’d looked at online. Job was finished in less time than estimated and the car not only sounds better, it drives as it did when it was new! I will be back for all oil changes and services.

Dishonest prices. Went to get my AC fixed… and being a female this happens every time I go to take my car in. I grew up in a car family so am not completely dumb when it comes to my vehicle. Even though I’m not under the hood and they could have been right… they werent. I got quoted with them at $ 210… and got quoted at 2 other places for $ 60 and $ 65. I heard that many mechanics do this to woman because we «wouldn’t know the difference»…and it’s happened to me more than once… so they just lost a potential long term customer… anywhere did a bad review.

I love this place, the Unilocal discount, their $ 20 oil change. Their drop off /​pickup service, CLEAN office, friendly staff. Hybrid certified, fair pricing.

Purchased a 07 Prius with high mileage and these guys & gals are keeping me on the road! Smart, friendly, helpful. So glad I found them!

SCAM ALERT!
I paid over four hundred dollars $ 400 to get my brakes changed and change some filters. Crazy right? On top of that they
CHANGED THE WRONG BRAKES and my car sounds like Crap now. WTF?. Also when I tried to talk to someone on the phone she was
EXTREMELY RUDE (she actually YELLED AT ME, who yells?) and just kept telling me to set an appointment and wouldn’t listen then
SHE SAID SHES GOING TO HANG UP ON ME
unless I want to set an appointment. I went to them for oil changes before and thought I could trust them
DO NOT TRUST THEM for anything more than $ 40. Also all my other reviews are 5 stars. I’m a hard person to disappoint but hey if the shoe fits use it to go

Always pleasant to deal with & I like the fact that they have the Hybrid Shop with the necessary equipment to test & maintain Hybrid vehicles.

So… How does an automotive place get five stars?
I came in for several (4) different items on an 06 Sentra. (AC Actuator, Transmission service, power window motor replacement, and oil change)
I knew what the approximate cost of most of this should be, based on other quotes, and their quote was actually significantly less!
Besides price, scheduling is also a concern for me. They were extremely accommodating, and I was able to get –mostly– everything done in one trip (mind you, this was a bunch of random different stuff). I did have to make one more trip in to finish everything because one part was not available that day, HOWEVER, I was told to bring my car back anytime at my next convenience to finish everything. I had an extra 45 minutes on my way home from work two days later, right around their closing time, and they totally finished the job right then and there — I was so impressed.
This place has friendly accommodating staff, great prices, and the ability to get you fixed up on your schedule. What else can you ask for?

I made a last-​minute decision to give Wilhelm Automotive a try for an oil change because I feel good about giving business to shops in my neighborhood.
The shop called to let me know the oil change was done and to notify me of their recommendations: transmission flush, power steering flush, rear brakes, and replacement of both air filters.
The total, minus the breaks, was over $ 400.
I paid for the oil change and took my car to another shop (brakes, specifically) for a second opinion. Upon leaving, I found my cabin air filter left on the floor of the passenger seat, unchanged and still in the frame. Also, my brakes mysteriously felt gritty.
The second opinion offered a less expensive transmission flush, no recommendation to flush the power steering, air filters changed, and the rear brakes were fine — 5% use in the front and 30% in the back. They cleaned the brakes beautifully and they felt like new when I drove away.
For a $ 24 oil change, I’d go somewhere else.

I was more than satisfied with my recent service at Wilhelm Arcadia. The staff was courteous and knowledgeable and got the job done. I was afraid of a long list of
parts and repairs for a sixteen year old Camry but not so, Will definitely go back but hopefully it won’t be for a while!

I’m DONE with the dealerships and couldn’t be happier. My Prius and Elantra have found new service homes with Wilhelm. This crew is kind, honest, fair, and efficient. I’m thrilled to have found them!

We were so lucky to have stumbled on this company. Air was out in Aug. They were great. We have been back 3 time since. Because we had not found anyone that we felt were honest and when they give a price, there is no surprizes when you come to pay the bill. No high pressure, just good work. Also, fast turnaround for work being done. I have to give them a 5 star rating. They are that good.

I was very happy with the professional, affordable, and straight-​forward customer service that I received. The shuttle service to work was really convenient. I’ll definitely be back!

Being new to the area, I wasn’t sure where to take my car for new brakes. Once I learned that Wilhelm had Saturday hours, I figured I’d at least go in for an estimate. They had an estimate ready for me in a rapid manor. They were affordable, honest, and were able to get my car back to me in only a few hours.

I called Wilhelm Automotive today to schedule an appointment for the reconditioning of my battery. I asked the usual questions. How long will it take? How much will it cost? etc. Keep in mind this is a standard service, like an oil change, but much more complicated. The price of this service varies by make, model, battery cells, etc. The price can also change if there are complications, i.e. dead battery cells that need to be replaced, but the base price for the service is known.
Well the person who answered the phone refused to tell me how much the service costs. I gave him my make, model and he still insisted that the price was unknown. That the price can change.
I asked him to at least tell me the base price so I know how much to budget. The person refused to answer the question. He continued with the answer that the price could vary.
I insisted that I understood and if something unexpected came up I wouldn’t hold him to the quoted price, I’m just trying to get an understanding of roughly how much I should budget to determine if I can afford it. No luck. After 15 minutes on the phone, I felt like I was dealing with Fort Knox.
This is the equivalent of going to a restaurant and the menu not having prices. Even more, it’s like asking the waiter for the price of a steak and the waiter stating that he was unsure because the price varies from plate to plate.
You guys need to find a better way of answering this question. I’m not the first, nor will I be the last to ask it.

We got a new (used) van and took it to Wilhelm to get it checked out. They said it was in great shape and didn’t charge us a bunch of money… what? Since when does a mechanic not come up with a ton of things that are wrong. Definitely going back there.

Wonderful service. Fixed my car extremely fast and reasonable prices. Even gave me a bit of a discount just because! Very happy with this little auto shop down the road.

Fantastic service, friendly staff, reasonable prices, always available and very organized. Other car places will tell you that your flux capacitor is on the fritz or in order to reverse the polarity of the neutron flow, we’ll need to do all this that and the other and it’ll cost a small fortune. No funny business here. I am blessed with a good quality service across the street from my home. Thanks Wilhelm Automotive.

At first I was a little saddened to learn that my former mechanic had up and sold the business at the drop of a hat. BUT, I am pleased to report that Wilhelm (who’s now at my mechanics old location) are a great group to work with.
From Devin and Jim at the front counter to the one mechanic that I’ve met. They are all extremely friendly.
The first time I stopped in, it was just to swing by to see why my mechanics weren’t answering the line. That’s when I found out the business had been sold. Devin and Jim said that they’d be glad to have a look at what was wrong with The Beast. I told them that I was having Fuel Pump issues and that just the month prior, the old shop couldn’t get my extended warranty to cover it. I explained what was happening and they said I could set up an appointment and have it looked at.
Well I wasn’t able to get back in until almost 3 or so weeks later. I called ahead of time and believe it or not, but Devin remembered me and the issue that was happening with The Beast. I setup an appointment for the following morning.
I drop of The Beast at 7:30 and am given a ride back to the house (where I grab the car — J was driving my old pickup cause he knew I’d need the car). I expect them to have the car for at least a day or two. Much to my surprise, I receive a call a couple hours later stating that the warranty company approved the work order and that the part was being delivered. I’d have The Beast back by that afternoon. CRAZY! They also looked at the window regulator, which the warranty company wouldn’t cover for some reason, and did a LOF. I told Devin that I’d be at the house by 4pm and he arranged for me to be picked up again.
Fast and Friendly Service. Gotta Love It!
