I really liked this place. We didn’t wait long and the waiting room is great(lots of games that work) and clean. The staff is friendly. My foster daughter had some serious dental issues. Dr. Heimann explained everything to us well, they were flexible with our schedule, and they got us in right away to get the work done. Even though she was scared, she had a good experience! Now she won’t stop smiling and is so excited to have white teeth(they removed/fixed her rotten teeth)!

This place is terrible. The wait times are long and the waiting room is small and very overcrowded. We only visited twice and will not be returning. On my first visit, they tried to pressure me to have my two year old sedated for the exam. They didn’t give me a choice, initially, and just said that they were going to sedate her. I immediately jumped in and said we were not going to do that, and they tried to pressure me into it. I finally just refused and said I didn’t want to do it if she had to be sedated. They reluctantly said they would try it and it she didn’t make a fuss at all. I don’t know why they were so insistent on that, it was weird. On my last visit, there were at least 15 kids there waiting, and most of their parents were not supervising them at all. The kids were pushing each other down, throwing dirty tissues at each other all over the floor, and just running wild. There was not much to entertain them there since only two of the games were working. When I made the appointment I was very specific that I would have to leave by noon. I made the appointment for 10:30am and they said they would easily be able to see both my kids and be done well before noon. When they called to confirm, they said 10:50. I reconfirmed that we would have enough time and still be out by noon. They said that would be no problem. After waiting for a long time, both to get in, and then in the room for the dentist, they had only seen one of my kids by noon. My two year old daughter was doing so well with the idea of the dentist, in general, but after the super long wait and then another wait to see the dentist, she was just done. Now she says she doesn’t want to go back to the dentist and cries when I bring it up. It seems like a pediatric clinic would have a better system down and not book 15 kids at the same time when there is only one dentist in the clinic. They don’t seem very familiar with how to deal with kids and make the experience positive and happy for them. I am going to find a dentist that can provide that positive experience for my kids so that they don’t grow up to be fearful and have negative connotations with the dentist.

This place has gone down hill. Time to look for a new pediatric dentist. Although I like Dr. Heimann, the staff is not the friendliest. Also the waiting room is turning into a mess. This last time I visited, only 2 of the 4 kid arcade games were working. I’ve been taking my kids here for about 5 years now, we’ve moved further away from this office since. It’s not worth the drive to me anymore.
