I lived here a few years ago, and it was horrible. At first I was happy to have my two bedroom apartment that was the size of a shoe box. The rent was 625, and I was working two jobs to pay it. One night when I was relaxing after work, Jason, the apartment manager at the time pounded on the door as loudly as he could. I was told that I had to move my car. I had parked in the spot marked with my apartment number. The reason I had to move my car was because his buddy in the next apartment had two cars, and instead of making him park in one of the guest spots or spots in the back I had to move my car. Me, the girl who paid the same amount or more than the guy complaining about me parking in my spot. I told the apartment manager that the spot was marked with my number, but I moved my car anyway. The next day I was leaving for work and noticed that he was painting over all the numbers. My neighbors were nosy, and some of them noisy as well, but I never complained. I kept to myself, but things took a turn for the worst one day when I went to pay my rent. The apartment manager told me that it was a beautiful day outside, and I told him that I work outside so I hadn’t really noticed. That one statement was all it took for him to unleash his awfulness upon me. The next day there was a note on my car saying that my car was too beat up to park where others could see it. I was upset, but I just threw the note away. He called me the day after to tell me that three people had complained about my dogs barking. My dogs only barked when my neighbors stomped on the stairs or fought with each other. One night I even had to endure the sounds of a loud fight at three in the morning. The police were called and one of the other tenants had her boyfriend arrested. The police were there all the time btw. I told him that I would try to keep my dogs quiet, and I still didn’t complain. He soon began following me around, forcing me to talk to him. Whenever I was outside he was always just around the corner waiting for me. I had to wait until it was raining to throw my trash away just so that I could avoid him. I had my mother bring him my rent money when it was due. It was so bad that I had to check outside before going to my car and then run to my car. He wrote me another note, a cruel note, and stuck it on my door. He wrote that he was going to evict me if I did not keep my dogs inside at all times. That was an issue because they went to the bathroom outside. They were inside most of the time anyway. I called him and told him about my neighbors and their noises and how it wasn’t fair that I didn’t have a parking spot. He cursed me out!!! I hung up on him, and he tried calling me back a few times. Then he called my mother and said he’d gotten out of hand, but it was the last straw. I couldn’t take it anymore. I had to move out. I couldn’t wait to get away from that place. The place itself was awful. There was mold on the walls, and anytime something broke it either didn’t get fixed or you would get blamed for it. My ac broke and he blamed my dogs, even though the repair man told him that there was no way for my dogs to have broken it.
