Cynthia’s Fine Flowers

Cynthia did our wedding flowers. I felt we really had a good connection when we first met, but I wasn’t impressed with the final product. I really wanted certain flowers that were not in season for my bouquet. She did the bill based on that, but then was not able to get them. I also should have been more specific in some of the other arrangements she did. I wanted red rose pomanders and instead of doing roses all around she put a lot of greenery so it ended up looking like a Christmas arrangement in the middle of summer. Not what I had in mind!!! Finally, she did some tulle bows and my family and friends had to step in and re-​do them all on the wedding day. I was expecting them to be really full and pretty, but it looked like she was scrimping on the tulle and they were pretty sorry looking. I think she charged us $ 200 or $ 250 to do maybe 10 of them. In retrospect, I wish I had done them myself. I saw a lot of her work and felt she was really talented so maybe I just wasn’t specific enough and/​or didn’t order the right things.
