Doesn’t seem to be any more live music. All the junk on the walls replaced with Browns themed paint. That’s how you know it’s a loser now. Beers are still cheap.

We stopped in here Friday night for a couple of drinks. There was decent live music playing, friendly bartender and large bar. Nothing special, but definitely somewhere I will try out again!

Myself and 2 buddies were in town on business. We were driving by looking for a place to grab a beer and pulled in. It was ladies night but you wouldn’t have been able to tell. It was pretty empty. They had 2 guys playing sets with guitars and they were really good. We shot some pool and ended up staying quite a while. It was definitely a local spot but the staff made us feel right at home and Chelsea, one of the bartenders who was in on her day off talked to us and entertained us and even played some pool with us. Drinks were reasonably priced and we will definitely visit again if we are out this way.

Pick Town Pub became a first-time watering hole stop recently as I was doing some end-of-the-night shopping at Easton. A friend of a friend who I met during the Memorial Tournament tends bar there 3-nights a week and suggested if I were ever on the east side of CBUS to drop in. Well, it was a Wednesday night at about 10PM and I parked in the front and entered. Pick Town Pub is at its best a local watering hole. There was a set of cheeks on every bar stool when I entered but I managed to grab one as a patron paid and departed. My friend was the barkeeper — good news. Pick Town, again, is local flavor for locals. Two pool tables, Golden Tee game, KENO game, an MP3 juke box, a smallish sized stage where a band can play. It’s small(about 800 — 1000 square feet) and doesn’t have much ambiance to speak of — very dark with lighting from neon or backlit beer signs. The patrons and clientele were hard working types — salt of the earth and salt on the rim. I won’t go so far as to say run across town to have drinks at Pick Town Pub. Heck, I can’t even suggest that folks who are sort of Applebee’s, Winking Lizard, BW3s or such would enjoy the atmosphere and the company. But my blinders are off and I think if I were a local Pickerington or nearby neighborhood dweller, this place would suite a purpose if a «cold one» before going home were needed. No, I didn’t check out the Men’s bathroom so if you elect to go,… you’re on your own. Ladies… bring a wingwoman or wingman. You won’t be long there without someone you know, someone to talk too. 3-stars because pubs know themselves better than a first-timer.
