I absolutely love this place. It’s kind of the columbus version of something and vine. Some of the things here are absolutely gorgeous, and I always end up wanting to take the whole store with me back home. Somehow, though, I doubt it would fit in to my bedroom. It could only be improved by being bigger.

The Good Earth Store is a heckuva find. Though it might suffer a bit location-wise(Pickerington, off 204), the store has the best selection of environmentally minded products in central Ohio. Clothing, cosmetics, home décor, cleaning supplies — this place is filled with super-hip green products. Here’s just a taste of what I’ve found at Good Earth: –Organic cotton t-shirts, polos and other fashionable men’s and women’s clothing. It’s tough to find eco-friendly stuff that doesn’t look like you just came in off the trail. Score one for Good Earth. –Bathrobes made from bamboo –Clocks, frames and business card holders made from re-purposed bike chains –A very cool selection of baby clothes –An exhaustive selection of Mrs. Meyer’s cleaning products… Giant Eagle might have a few items, but no one has all this! –Mugs and cups made from remolded beer and wine bottles –Furniture made from wine and whiskey barrels Good Earth stocks a good bit more than what I listed here. These are just what caught my eye. For re-purposed, recycled and generally hip stuff, check this place out — it rocks.
