Rating on a cookie decorating class.(–2 stars) $ 25 for a 4-hr class. Not a bad price comes with a couple of cookies(of 14 cookies shown in the pic we did 6). They show you the proper consistency to mix the royal icing(you mix it there). However, they don’t show you appropriate way to pipe. Only sometimes did the Instructor first demo first. do one whole cookie then have the class do it. I’ve taken a better class elsewhere for $ 10 more for about the same number of hours(but on different days). Sink available which is good. Store: Primarily for the baking industry folk.

I love it! I’m not a professional baker or do I run this specific type of business but I do like to make fun treats for my family and friends. I attended a candy apple class for the first time and signed up for another class for Monday. Instructor and store clerks were very helpful and patient with my beginner questions… Only wish there was one closer to me in the IE.

I called in and asked for discount price if I buy in bulk. I did not even get to finish when the so called«manager» told me to go somewhere else and just hung up the phone. Ruuuddeee!!! I’ll definitely go somewhere else! WTF was that??! You can’t treat a potential customer like this. DONOTCOMEHERE. YOURBUSINESSWON’T BEAPPRECIATED.

This was my first time at this place. I was very impressed with the selection. This place is a baker’s heaven! The customer service was great too. My only concern is the parking lot. When I visited this location is was already dark outside. The parking lot does not have much lighting and it can be a bit scary looking if it’s your first time. I almost drove off without actually looking inside. It wasn’t until I saw a mom and child exiting this I feel safe to enter the business. I say– add more lighting and a bright ‘entrance’ sign. But I’ll be back!(Most likely during the day)

I searched for a bakery supply store that had what I used in my baking classes. Although they carry mostly bulk items, I was able to find everything I needed. One of the staff there came up and asked if I needed any help, and I did. I told him what I was looking for and brought it to me. So helpful! I can’t wait to use all the items I bought and to go back to try more. The prices are right and the store is very clean and orderly.

Disappointed with the manager! We called to see if they had a product they said yes. We drove 40 miles to be told NO by the manager. he was rude and not helpful didn’t bother to go check and didn’t take the time to talk to us. Angelica came to the rescue and asked if we needed help I explained what we needed and she took the time to go to the back and check. Thank god for her or else my trip would’ve been a waste of my time.

Nice place, Kinda hidden… wifey went there to pick up some cooking tools and molds… Since she was a first time customer, they gave her a little gift… That was nice… Definitely be back!

A disappointment. I called ahead to ask about a certain product. Was told they had several to choose from but wouldn’t tell me over the phone what they had.. After driving over 50 miles to the store, they had only one to choose from and it was the wrong one. I bought a few items anyway and when I was checking out, I pointed out that one of the items had a lower price on the shelf than they were charging me. The clerk checked and spoke to a person who seemed to be a manager/owner. They gave it to me for the price marked on the shelf(which they have to do) but the owner kept ranting about what a good deal I got and it wasn’t his fault that an employee didn’t change the shelf price.(It was a difference of just a couple of dollars) He did that until I walked out of the store. No I won’t be going back — ever.

Costco for bakers ! I love it here. MUCHCHEAPERTHANMOMANDPOPCAKESUPPLYSTORES, very friendly and helpful people, they have everything you would need. Plus it’s open to the public which is great. If coming from slauson it is complicated to get to, you have to make a U-turn on the next street to get to it and the sign isn’t very visible. It’s a bit of a drive for me but worth every penny. Highly recommend it

So not what I was expecting. I was told this was the place to go! It is far from that! Prices are higher than Hobby Lobby. Employees are so rude and act like you are wasting their day when you ask for help. Store is dirty and hot! If you need something and they are stocking items on the isle you will get told to come back another day. DONTWASTEYIURTIMEHEREGOSOMEWHEREELSE!

THISREVIEWISFORTHESERVICE. Rude staffs. They were not helpful nor were they friendly. I did not drive all the way there to be treated like I wasn’t even worth their time. I was not able to grab what I came there to get because they were so utterly rude and unprofessional I decided to take my business elsewhere.

I have been coming to Bakers Bodega for several months to purchase supplies for my side business. I only go for the cake boards and cake dummies so I can’t speak to the quality of the cake mixes and frostings. They have an excellent selection of cake boards, basically any size you need in round or square. The selection of styrofoam is also great. The service is OK. Checkout can sometimes take a long time. They are usually well stocked though there have been a few occasions that I came here and the size I needed was not available. Overall this shop is great for your baking needs. I’m a regular and I will continue to be a customer.

A bit pricey in comparison to other places. Hard to get the help we needed and staff was very rushed. When we asked for our free gift with checkin we were given a roll of the eyes. Maybe we got them in a bad day. Might give them another try.

Very LIMITED candy making supplies. If you’re looking for candy making supplies such as molds and other tools, go to or eBay. If you must go to a storefront, try Angel’s cake decorating and candy supplies store in Bellflower.
