Olivia gave THE BEST cut & color! She really knows how to color bright colors from a dark base! I’m impressed!

I’d give this place a 0 if it were an option. I’ve never been so pissed at any business. I came to buy a shampoo and conditioner that was recommended to me and the girl said if it didn’t work (considering it’s a really expensive brand) that I could return it. Never mentioned it was only store credit, but whatever. When I go in today to return it within the time frame, they tell me it’s only store credit. I grabbed a few things but still had money left. The girl at the register (Val, if that’s really her name) asked me for my name for the remaining store credit. Since the place is too far for me, I asked if I could just give her someone else’s name. She said yes but that if she put someone else’s name, I wouldn’t be able to use it. Fine. All of a sudden this chic is writing some random name on the certificate. When I asked her why she had written that name, she rudely replied «well because you refused to give me your name!» I was like WTF! When I reminded her that I told her clearly that I would give her someone else’s name, the witch walked away from me and left me with the other cashier. This place is a freaken rip off and I don’t doubt that she was trying to keep the difference for herself or someone else she knows.

Best haircut of my life with the staff at Kut N Beauty :). Everyone was nice and I especially loved how well my hair came out! Must go back, the prices are so great! Can’t wait to tell my friends about this place!

First off the lady on the far end up against the wall cut my sons hair or stared too I told he want I wanted a medium fade zero to a one on the sides all around with a comb over to have to see she did a 1 all around so I told her I wanted a fade zero to a one… She got mad a said I didn’t say that … Ok well that’s what I asked for you didn’t hear it the first time so here is the second! Then to cut the back of the ear of my son to start bleeding and I told her you cut his ear… First I know it’s sensitive but she kept denying it and wiped the blood off with her finger and kept wiping it so the blood wouldn’t be seen so I Called my husband over and he also seen the blood and said that it was cut! She still denied it with the blood drop accumulating so she said you don’t like it have someone Else cut it so I did! As the other hair stylist Began to finish she also said its cut! Never again! Admit you did and it would of been fine

Bricia is awesome! If you are lucky enough to get an appointment with her (because the girl is BUSY) You won’t be disappointed!

So, I was told the wait was 30 min. I go to the store for 10min and return. Then the blonde girl with the short hair who took my name (after waiting 10 min with no one asking why I was randomly standing around) told me she was calling me 5 min ago… Why would you tell me it is a 30 min wait? She said it is because stylist work at different paces. You had ONE JOB! Ugh. Why did I disregard all the bad reviews… WHY! professionalism is needed.

Love getting hair cuts with Connie she’s the best. Great customer services and best stylist make appointments with her.

Another happy me… Love getting my hair done at this location… I make sure I make an appointment with Connie and double check that they get it right since once they set me up with another person… Connie did my hair for my friends wedding and I got nothing but compliments … Make sure you check in on Unilocal and you get a freebie at check-​out…

5 stars for Sonia. She listened and understood the type of haircut I wanted. She Took her time, measured and showed me the different lengths of layers for my hair. I have long hair and I’m very picky with hair stylist. I’m very happy she did my hair. Great medium layers that gave me the right amount of volume. I also love buying hair products there too, reasonable prices. :)

A hidden gem! I went to Olivia for extensions and could not be happier. She offered a thorough consultation first to fix a problem I was having with my existing extensions that kept slipping. Olivia was very knowledgeable, gave me several options to go with and in her opinion the best option. I had beaded rows that looked sparce and kept slipping. Olivia helped me choose a better option of using taped extensions. They look absolutely beautiful, are very full, lightweight, no itching, and very natural. They are actually helping my hair grow out. She also gave me advice on haircare and products. The beauty supply has a great array of products and the staff here is very friendly, professional and knowledgeable. I’ll definetly be going back!

The only reason I am giving this place 3 stars is because of Marylin. She was so helpful and accommodating. If it wasnt for her being so helpful i would have thrown a fit.
But let me give reasons as to why i dont like this place:
1. Carmen, one of the senior hair stylists was not at ALL listening to what i had to say. She only wanted to cut the length and style she wanted without taking into consideration what i wanted. I constantly told her that i wanted it shorter and a more defined Aline. I appreciate that she was explaining to me why she thought there was a better style. However, i am paying for the specific haircut i wanted not what she thought was best.
2. They tried charging me $ 18 for the haircut, when the previous day they charged me $ 18 for a TRIM. It seemed ridiculous and uncalled for.
I appreciate that they didnt charge me and accepted their mistake but I wont be going back.

I give 5 Stars to Edith! She definitely knows how to cut guys hair. I’ve taken two of my daughter’s friends male teenagers, and at first they were really leery about having their hair cut at Kut N Beauty, because it wasn’t a barber shop. The reason why I took them here is because they had gone to barber shops in Downey and they left their haircuts horrible! Edith knew exactly how to blend the sides and cut the top just right! I recommend her to any guy that is looking for a great haircut!

When a mix up in a schedule happens once you think OK, but when it happens again, scheduling is a definite problem at this salon! It’s unfortunate because I really like the stylist Maricela, she is great! Each time the night before a gal calls to confirm the appointment, nice! First time I was double booked and today I’m on my way to the appointment and receive a call to tell me the stylist is off today, not on the schedule.
Kut N Beauty, take people’s time serious as we do who don’t chair hop and return. Not sure if I should even bother making an appointment again since my time and business doesn’t seem to be very important.

I’ve tried many barbers but always find my way back here. You call and make an appointment and don’t have to wait in lines. I’ve been getting my hair cut by Marisela for years and she does an amazing job. Location is always busy, music playing and staff is so friendly and accommodating. My nephews also get hair cuts here and are never disappointed. My wife has also been here a couple times and enjoyed it. The stylist are mostly women with s couple men here and there. Try it out, you might like it. Oh another good thing about cut n beauty is if you buy a hair product and don’t like it you can return it.

When I first came in during the morning I made an appointment, the girls there were nice and professional. The evening staff, very much the opposite. I stood at the desk for almost a minute while one giggled on the business phone looking for an appointment, and the other had her face buried in her phone, texting. When the texter decided to finally help me, I was welcomed with a very monotone and dry, «Ya, can I help you?»
Needless to say, I was somewhat taken aback by that.
Upon sitting in the chair with the girl who was cutting my hair, I came in with a picture of a layered haircut with bangs, the chick that did my hair took one glance at it and started on me… about 15 (maybe less) minutes later she finished. During that whole time she made no attempt to talk to me or make me feel comfortable. Instead, she spoke to the person next to her the ENTIRE time as they made annoying and crude jokes. I didn’t get it styled because I wasn’t going out. The following day, after my hair had dried, I woke to see my bangs were an absolute and sloppy mess. The layers that she gave my hair were half-​assed and already have the look as though my hair was growing in. I’m pretty unhappy with it, especially because my hair takes forever to grow back. This is the fourth time I have received a haircut from this place and was left dissatisfied. I really tried giving this salon a shot, I’m done with them.
Side note: the girl was the rockabilly looking one. I didn’t bother remembering her name.

Not what I wanted from Sonia, just give it a try I’m sure it just wasn’t her day or maybe I wasn’t specific.
I did get my hair cut way too short without having much say and I added a picture in the descriptions to her intake on balyage hair.
I hope you have better luck.
I do have to say that Maria is a great hair stylist.

I highly highly recommend Maricela to be your stylist, when it comes down to coloring your hair or haircuts she’s is amazing I have referred almost all my girlfriends to her ! She can work with any kind of hair ! She’s done all my different blondes I had for about half a year & also had me with an ombré while having a really short bob ! I mean she’s seriously an expert ! There is also some lady called Maria she has had red hair she also gives good haircuts ! Only stylist I have tried & recommend !
