I don’t even know where to start, this place is the. The only menudo that’s better than Moms and I know most of feel the same way about Moms menudo bi my Moms is the second best this place is 1^st.lol. I ordered the carne asada plate for my son and I wanted to eat it. the best ever and the tortillas are delicious. What are you waiting for just go and order anything on the menu you will thank me

Unfortunately the food was bad this time around! Chilaquiles tasted like they reheated them with lots of Butter. My hubby ordered a Jamaica, there was a girl walking around refilling drinks and she ended up refilling his drink with Sangria! Good thing my husband tasted the drink before giving it to our 6 year old son! Our waitress seemed more interested in walking around socializing and reapplying her makeup and didn’t bring us utensils right away. Had to wait a good 5 minutes with our food before her noticing is to give us utensils. She didn’t bring out the menudo cup I ordered and still billed us for it. Terrible service. She didn’t seem apologetic at all, she just giggled and laughed at what happened.
Please Salsa! Train your waiters! We won’t be coming back anytime soon. Terrible service!

The green Pozole is delicious and available Saturday and Sunday! Of course they have delicious traditional red Pozole for the traditionalists !! Delicious salsas will not disappoint ! Friendly service!

Service is not as great as when I first started coming here a few years ago. Servers take forever during lunch hour. The food quality is not as great as before.

Had breakfast here after church on Sunday, it was awesome. Had a wet breakfast burrito. Really good.
Their coffee is the best, it has a hint of cinamon flavor.

Well I thought the food was going to be good because the prices were really expensive but when I got my food it literally had no taste whatsoever. The machaca was horrible. There wasn’t that many people in the place and service still was not up to par. I won’t be coming back here

The best chicharrones en salsa verde and the pechuga en limon deliciosa. Only thing is that with the authenticity of flavors, this places will be 5 rated stars if they would serve homemade tortillas. Corn and flower.

Today we went in for breakfast and both me and my boyfriend ordered the bottomless posole and menudo. Once we got our food we really never got good service. We had to ask 3 times for tapatio, the waitress asked if I wanted a refill of my coffee I said yes but decaf. She never came back, I had to flag a waitress down for the refill. My boyfriends lemonade never got a refill. We had to ask for more posole and when she brought it to the table she left so fast we couldn’t ask for more limes and cabbage. I had to try to flag her down again. After that she never came back to ask if I wanted more menudo. We just gave up. She was quick to remove our plates and take our money though.

Great food! Homemade tortillas and guacamole are awesome! The service is great as well… prompt and very polite.

Service was quick… Chips and salsa was on point… eddie blanco special was very good ill be back soon for the menudo looks and smells good

Just a Quick Note. Happy Days. They are Now Offering their Green Pozole periodically as the Soup of the Day!!! I Guess I’m Just Lucky. Stopped in for a Great Meal of Carne Asada. Bertha came to out table with 2 little bowls of Green Pozole. I told her «Oh too bad, If I had known your had it I would have ordered it» So we finished our Dinners and when we went to pay, Bertha came out with a large container of Green Pozole to Go. This was a Complete Surprise and Made me have that feeling again. I felt like I belonged and was valued. I had a Smile the rest of the night. Thank You Bertha and Thank You Again Marco, Just for Being There.

Ordered roasted chile to pick up this morning and decided to stay for breakfast! My chile verde burrito was awesome and the service was exemplary. Large servings and fresh cinnamon coffee, YUM! Owners were very active in customer service… 5 thumbs up!!! Will stop again when in the area… thanks for an awesome experience!!!

If you decide to come, definitely go on a Saturday or Sunday for some really dank pozole. I had the pozole verde and woooooow I loved it! It rlly hit the spot & it is so flavorful. It is a must try. Besides this, service is great. Very attentive & always checking up on you. However I noticed a few crickets hopping around on the floor under my table & that kinda made me uneasy. –1 star for that. But sans crickets, this place is a sweet spot for Mexican cuisine!

where to begin. as a kid my family came here every Thursday for dinner. My dad went to school with the owners son so we enjoy coming here. over he years we stopped eating here then started coming back and surprisingly the workers remembered us and were so happy to see us. They are so nice and their food is good.
I’ve had pozole, tacos durados, enchiladas, steak picado, Caesar salad, torta, and I enjoyed every single plate. There bean dip and salsa is the best! I come here when I’m in the mood for authentic Mexican food.

I was under the impression that I had written this review long ago. This is a full blown staple of mine for lunch and when coming, I will get the same thing 95% of the time. Strange? Waste? I will tell you that the salad that I order here is an absolutely full blown experience and not just something to be taken lightly. For those that know me, how many salads do I speak of? Do I order anywhere else? NUNCA, NADA, NEVER, NO-​SIR! The salad here is so incredibly special that I crave it and pretty much always want it when I am in the area.
We are talking about the chopped chicken salad that comes with bacon, a delicious cut up chicken breast and an incredible red pepper vinaigrette. For those that enjoy the taste of the «devil weed» you are welcome to have the default dressing, cilantro lime. The salad is chopped which makes eating it that much more pleasant, the serving size is HUGE which leaves you the opportunity to take half home if interested.
What makes the dining experience that much better is the free refills of drinks and the fresh tortilla chips that are dusted in a tasty sprinkling. For those that know, try ordering the bean dip when you sit down. It is chorizo refried beans that is incredible and best of all GRATIS baby! Don’t forget the soup that also comes with the lunch and the great service. Awesome joint! But beware, they are closed on Mondays…

Service was great yet again. Food was outstanding. Restaurant has daily specials worth trying plus old favorites.

Ok so have you ever eaten somewhere and you know it’s a great restaurant, but you just know you did not order the right dish? I mean I like this place, but I wanna love it reasons being they start you off with excellent chips and salsa with steaming hot chorizo and Bean dip! The staff is beyond attentive, and friendly it’s packed with happy people. Now my chile verde con huevos was good but not great! I mean I really had high expectations coming into such a busy establishment!
So the question is would I come back? Well I would have to say yes, but obviously on my next visit I will be asking the weight staff what the gold standard dish on the menu would be. All that said ladies and gents I would recommend this place just for the bean dip and salsa alone!

Everything about Salsa Grill is amazing. From the service to the food to the pricing it’s all great! Love coming during the week for lunch specials only $ 9 for soup, drink and entrée cannot beat it. Called in my order today and it was ready when I arrived. Ordered the cilantro chicken salad and and the flautas both were delicious, fresh and filling. When the weekend comes this is the place for a nice relaxing delicious bowl of menudo. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a good home cooked Mexican meal. (Without having to do all the work!)

A friend and I were in Pico yesterday and wanted tacos. I grew up in pico and remembered having salsa every Tuesday and loving them. So we headed their (Salsa).
We were greeted and seated right as we walked in. Chips, salsa and bean dip was brought to the table right away. Our drinks were refilled as soon as we hit the third quarter mark.
Now let’s get to the food. The salsa, which I thought was super tasty before lacked salt. I ordered the tacos dorados plate and it also lacked salt. My friend ordered the tacos plate and the same thing, they needed salt.
SO BASICALLY THE SERVICE WAS GREAT THE FOOD LACKED FLAVOR. Sounds about right.
