Creekside Campground

My husband and I have been RVing across the US for about 9-​weeks now. Without a doubt, this is the nicest RV Park we have stayed at. As the previous reviewer said, it’s clean, lots of shade, good size lots with a cement pad and picnic table, and full hook-​ups. The folks in the office are so friendly and helpful, you can’t help but have a great day in this beautiful location.
The trolley comes by (right into the park) every hour from 8am to about 11p and they take you into Patriot Park just behind the Old Mill Restaurant and General Store. From there you can take a variety of other trolleys to interesting spots like Dollywood and even into Gatlinburg. The local trolley is only 50-​cents a ride or $ 2.50 for the entire day.

We have stayed in campgrounds from California to Nova Scotia in the last two years, and this one always pleases us. A nice mountain stream, abundant shade, full hookups and spotless restrooms. (We rarely use campground showers but these are a treat — roomy, well lit, tons of hot water and super clean.) You park on nice gravel but the patios are concrete. Great cable reception and unusually friendly campers. Oh, and the ducks. The mallards will eat out of your hand. All of this plus super prices for Good Sam, Passport and Campclub USA. Five minutes from the main drag and two minutes from Kroger. Perfect.
