I thoroughly dislike fast food, but when in a pinch, you can always count on the consistency of McDonalds… …well, almost always. Not sure why everything in Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg closes so early. Nevertheless, we were driving back to our cabin and hungry, so we decided to grab McDonalds, since most other restaurants were closed or about to close. We found this location on our drive, wasn’t listed on Unilocal, but there it was. Looks relatively new from the outside, well positioned and well lit. That’s about where the«well» portion ends. I ordered two bacon ranch wraps for the boys, a Big Mac meal for me and a McNuggets happy meal for our daughter. This is where the problems start. 1– they don’t carry honey at this location. Really??? I’ve never heard of a McDonald’s that doesn’t «carry honey». 2–(discovered when we got back to the cabin) we paid for the bacon ranch crispy wraps. We got the«snack wraps». Not worth driving back, but disappointing for the boys. 3– the McNuggets were soggy and tasted as if cooked in rancid oil. Overall the worst McDonalds experience I’ve ever had. How can you screw up McDonald’s? It’s all automated and pre-measured. Guess there’s no human-proofing, even in fast food.

The last time I went I ordered 3 McChickens, my favorite, well the cook messed up and tried to play it off and I got what was basically a hamburger but had chicken instead of beef, when confronted, the lady at the counter was very rude, and I waited forever for a remake while listening to the girl who took my order complain how I came back in. What happened to good customer service.

Always gives you the wrong food on a busy road that you can’t get back to. Rude employees!!! Stay away! Stay far away!!! Unless you like eating what you didn’t order!!! Does no good to complain, they don’t even want to fix it they barely give you the right food back!

Oh how did they go wrong so soon? This is one of the new«glam-version» Mc D’s, but it fails in so many ways. On a Sunday evenings it was not crowded, but it was very dirty and service was slow. They had a nonfunctional drink dispenser and unlabeled Iced Tea. They managed to overcharge by making Iced tea part of a combo when it sells for $ 1 then considering the soft drink a separate purchase at $ 1.59. Odd. Pleasant counter staff, however. The AT&T wifi requires a sign in but would not provide any place to agree to the terms when using my non-AT&T phone.

Worst Mc Ds ever. Cashier was sneezing all over the food and coffee. Breakfast was cold and old. Never let a 10 yr old pick breakfast.

Worst of the order was my wife’s ¼ ponder was not cooked fully. Actually still raw in the middle meaning it was frozen nearly raw. When she took it back they mentioned it happens alot here. They also argued our 5 meals were only permitted to have three fries even though we read them the menu. As large of a McDonald’s as this is I expected better, even from McDonald’s.

2 stars. Which makes it twice as good as a usual encounter with McAwful’s. Poorly prepared, awful food. They did have a Fast double drive thru. Only here because: 1) I was told to come specifically here and get this. 2) having Five Guys for breakfast is too over the top. The intestinal cramps I got later on in the day, from eating here, are my own damned fault. @Removeyourhat
