What a unique concept and amazing service. They do amazing work and will carve your personalized rock while you wait. We picked a beautiful stone out and customized it just the way we wanted it. While we ate dinner they did the engraving and painting and put it in our car for us. The service was amazing and they couldn’t have been more helpful. It couldn’t have turned out any better and we just can’t wait to «plant» our stone when we get home!

We visit Sandman’s Workshop every time we are in Pigeon Forge. Their stone carvings are awesome and our kids love being able to see their designs carved on a stone. The stones make a great keepsake for them to always remember the fun times we had on our vacations in Pigeon Forge!

Go here! We picked up a lovely stone for a keepsake on our anniversary trip. They are many options of stone and engravings to choose from, it’s hard to pick just one! Most importantly, the shop is run and operated by really nice friendly and professional people. They also ship so we will keep that in mind for the future, excellent gift ideas!

We know the owners and they have made us several beautiful rocks! We are from WV and then even did coal carvings, which we loved. They also do rocks that have lamp oil or citronella. Fantastic people, fantastic work!

Amazing little find. It is a fabulous shop with the most helpful people. Such a great idea for gifts. Beautiful stones that you pick and have engraved with anything of your choice. Picked out our stone, had it designed, and able to pick it up the same day. Don’t miss out on this little treat if you’re looking for something special.

When in Pigeon Forge DO NOT MISS the Sandman’s Workshop. They will carve any image and/​or wording into the stone of your choice. Talking to the owner we found that he hand selects each and every stone from area quarries. He told us he rejects over half of the stones he sees because they don’t have the right shape or color for his customers. We ordered our stone and it was ready for us to pick up the same day. The prices are much less than we have seen in other shops around the country. We told our friends about this and they are now having us get carved stones for them on our next trip. A great place.
